Internet mocks Trump as he claims he's 'ambidextrous' and proceeds to give wrong definition of the word
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Donald Trump's misuse of the term "ambidextrous" during a recent interview sparked widespread ridicule on social media, as reported by HuffPost.
The mix-up, in which the former president appeared to conflate the word with the ability to multitask, once again raised questions about his mental ability and fitness for public office. This latest blunder added to a growing list of Trump's language missteps.
Donald Trump uses the word 'ambidextrous' to boast about his ability to multitask
During an interview with Telemundo 51, Trump was asked how he managed to balance family life with his ongoing legal troubles.
The 77-year-old responded by claiming he was "putting it aside" before uttering the now-infamous line, "I'm very ambidextrous, so to speak, I can do a lot of things at one time. And I'm willing to do and able to do things and lots of different things."
It quickly became apparent that Trump had confused the word "ambidextrous," which refers to the ability to use both hands equally well, with multitasking or the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Joe Biden's campaign's re-election account further fueled the flames by sharing the clip with the caption, "Trump, confused: I'm very ambidextrous, so to speak. I can do a lot of things at one time."

Trump's misuse of the term "ambidextrous" came amid his ongoing legal battles, including a criminal trial involving an alleged hush money payment made to Stormy Daniels to silence her about their alleged affair.
The "ambidextrous" mishap is hardly the first time Trump has struggled with language and pronunciation. Just days prior, on May 1, the former president stumbled over the word "infrastructure" during a speech, stating, "[It didn't] work out too well — $1.2 trillion for their fake infra-struck-er-sher par-."
Concerns about Trump's mental fitness have long been voiced by experts, with some citing indications of dementia based on his public statements and behaviors. Dr Lance Dodes, a former professor at Harvard Medical School, stated that there is "overwhelming" evidence suggesting the ex-POTUS is suffering from dementia, according to OK! Magazine.
"Unlike normal aging, which is characterized by forgetting names or words, Trump repeatedly shows something very different: confusion about reality," explained Dodes.
