Hunter Biden blasts George Clooney over op-ed that put pressure on his dad to exit 2024 race: 'F**k him'

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE: It’s been a full year since former President Joe Biden bowed out of the 2024 race and passed the baton to former Vice President Kamala Harris. But don’t expect his son Hunter Biden to let bygones be bygones, especially when it comes to George Clooney.

In a raw, three-hour, expletive-laced sit-down with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan in Wilmington, Delaware, the former first son unleashed on Clooney and other prominent Democrats who dared to criticize his dad or nudged him toward backing out of the race.

“F*** him, f*** him and everybody around him,” Hunter seethed at Clooney over the actor’s now-infamous New York Times op-ed that basically told Joe to wrap up his reelection campaign.

"I agree with Quentin Tarantino, F***ing George Clooney is not a f***ing actor. He is a f***ing, like, I don’t know what he is. He's a brand," Biden ranted. "And by the way, and God bless him, you know what, he supposedly treats his friends really well, you know what I mean, buys them things. And he's got a really great place in Lake Como and he's great friends with Barack Obama. F*** you, what do you have to do with f**king anything?"

"Why do I have to f***ing listen to you?" he asked.

As mentioned, Hunter’s wrath stems from Clooney’s July 2024 op-ed in The New York Times, which followed Biden’s trainwreck of a debate performance against now-President Donald Trump on June 27. The Oscar-winner wrote that the Joe he saw at a glitzy LA fundraiser just days earlier was the same stumbling figurehead Americans saw on the debate stage.

“The one battle he cannot win is the fight against time,” Clooney wrote at the time. “This is about age. Nothing more. We are not going to win in November with this president.”

In the tell-all 'Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again', CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson claimed that Joe Biden didn’t even recognize George Clooney at that June fundraiser.

But Hunter said the book’s sources got it twisted badly. "[Joe Biden] may know George for the last 30 years, and he may have met him 15 times, but the guy on his shoulder, who's usually a military officer, has one job, to say the name of the person who's walking up," the former first son said. 

He added, "I was there. I watched George Clooney be introduced to my dad with 30 other people in line and the guy said, 'Mr. President, George Clooney and Julia Roberts.' That's it, that's the story."

According to Hunter, Clooney then used that moment in his op-ed as ammo against his dad.

"What right do you have to step on a man who's given 52 years of his f***ing life to the service of this country and decide that you, George Clooney, are gonna take out basically a full-page ad in the f***ing New York Times to undermine the president at a time in which, by the way, what do people care about the most?" he blasted. "Why do you think that the Republicans have an advantage over us? Because they’re unified."

Hunter also claimed that Clooney almost didn’t show up to the fundraiser at all — supposedly over an argument with his wife, Amal Clooney, about Joe’s views on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Internet trolls Hunter Biden as he lashes out at George Clooney

Naturally, critics on social media couldn’t stay silent while Hunter Biden let it rip.

One said, "Keep Talking Hunter," while another mocked, "Guess Hunter didn't watch the debate."

"I bet if u stop feeding this guy rocks he’ll spill all the beans," someone else quipped. "Are the Bidens turning against Obama? Wtf is going on?" a person asked.  

"Alright I’ve seen enough. Hunter Biden 2028," one said, while a more supportive voice added, "You go Hunter, protect your dad." 

One questioned the motives behind the sudden interview, writing, "Where did this guy come from out of nowhere? What is he selling? Does he have new book coming out? People, esp those in his position with all s**t following him don't just do interviews after laying low & successfully getting ppl to forget about him. What's the agenda here?"
