Hydi Cain: Georgia teen went missing from home 'barefoot' following suspected 'psychotic episode'

NORTH CAROLINA, GEORGIA: After what is believed to have been a 'psychotic episode', a 16-year-old Georgia girl vanished, leaving only her pajama bottoms, a sweatshirt, and no shoes on.

Hydi Cain vanished early on Sunday, and the Fayetteville Police, who are located close to Atlanta, are looking for her.

Blonde hair, 5 feet 1 inch, 130 pounds, the teenager was reported missing after experiencing a "psychotic episode," and a missing poster warned of her imminent danger.

Hydi Cain's mother posted missing posters on Facebook

According to details released by the City of Fayetteville Department of Public Safety on Saturday, Hydi might have dyed her hair black after going missing.

In an attempt to locate her missing daughters, Hydi's mother, Sidney Fyffe, has been posting missing posters throughout the town for the past few days.

She posted a picture on Facebook with a caption, "Being a parent of an almost adult is the hardest thing I have ever done. They think they know what is out there. But they don't."

The message on first poster read, "Hydi has been missing since 1/7/2024 after a psychotic episode. She is in grave danger. If you see her call 911 or the number below immediately"

Another poster read, "Hydi Cain is missing. She was last seen in the early hours of Sunday morning. She left her home in Fayetteville in these clothes and barefoot. Police are involved, but there is still no word on her whereabouts, and her mom and little sister are worried sick.If you see Hydi or know of where she is, please contact the Fayetteville Police Department."

"Y'all please help me bring my daughter home safe," Fyffe posted on social media.

"I'm so sorry to read this! I got to know Hydi while working with the youth group at church. She's such a sweet girl!! I'm praying she is found safe," a well-wisher commented.

"Praying she's found safely. Hopefully just a manager acting tough, as they often do. Hang in there. Will keep praying," said a second.

Sidney Fyffe doubts '30-year-old' man

Fyffe shared a picture of Xavier Harris on Facebook in a different post, whom she believes has anything to do with her daughter going missing and also accused him of drugging her daughter.

She wrote, "This man’s name is Xavier Harris. He is 30 years old and has given my daughter drugs and is apparently real sweet on my daughter."

"Yes I have given all of this to the police and private investigator. If you know this man or have seen this man let him know IM LOOKING FOR HIM."
