WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's fans went into a meltdown as Apple recently admitted that a glitch in iPhones is replacing the word "racist" with Trump.

The glitch was identified in a viral video on social media. Since the video was posted, many iPhone users have reported the bug and shared videos on X (formerly Twitter) of the glitch occurring on their phones, per Newsweek.

The issue arises when users enable the voice-to-text feature on their phones, which lets them dictate messages aloud, per the outlet.

Notably, the name "Trump" appears for a short time when a user says the word ''racist' as the phone soon corrects to what was initially said.

Meanwhile, Apple officials acknowledged the issue and said they are working to fix it. The officials at Apple said that speech recognition models might initially display words with phonetic overlap until further analysis identifies the correct word.

However, the technical glitch has led to Apple being accused of political bias by MAGA, conservative commentators, and several Trump supporters.

Notably, in February, President Trump thanked Apple chief executive Tim Cook after the company announced a $500 billion US investment plan that would create 20,000 jobs, according to Fortune.

Cook said in a press release, "We are bullish on the future of American innovation, and we’re proud to build on our long-standing US investments with this $500 billion commitment to our country’s future."

Thanking Cook, Trump posted on social media on Monday, February 24, "Apple has just announced a record 500 billion dollar investment in the United States of America. The reason, faith in what we are doing, without which, they wouldn’t be investing ten cents. Thank you Tim Cook and Apple!!!"

Internet goes into meltdown as iPhone bug replaces word 'racist' with 'Trump'

Several internet users and MAGA fans went into a meltdown as a glitch in iPhones replaced the word 'racist' with 'Trump'. Fans were shocked, and many believed that it was fake.

A user wrote on X, "Not true. Probably went into settings and changed the autocorrect settings," while one added, "Thought this was bogus but legit mine just did the same. What on earth."

A person also stated, "Holy s**t wtf it does it on mine too," whereas one mentioned, "Apple hates MAGA and hates Trump. Voice to text the word 'racist' on your iPhone (regardless of app) and 'Trump' appears first for a millisecond and then the actual word appears. I do wonder why."

A user also wrote, "I just tried it and yes, it did the exact same thing. Any explanation @tim_cook or @Apple. You have until noon to respond and fix this or I will be replacing my iPhone today," while another commented, "Omg I tried it and the first two times. It did the same thing for me and then corrected."
