Ice Spice reacts after being attacked at California McDonald’s
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A few days after a viral incident at a Los Angeles McDonald’s on April 15, where a fan reportedly approached Ice Spice while she was eating with a friend and slapped her (as seen in footage obtained by TMZ), more details about the moment surfaced online.
According to reports, the woman walked up to the table where Ice Spice and her friend were seated before the physical altercation unfolded. On Saturday, April 18, Ice Spice addressed the incident for the first time in a lighthearted way. She shared a clip of the video on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “This wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s.”
Ice Spice to take legal action after viral McDonald’s slap incident
Ice Spice is reportedly moving forward with legal action after a viral video showed her being slapped by a woman at a McDonald’s in Los Angeles. In the video, the woman first approaches Ice Spice’s table and tries to start a conversation. She repeatedly asks where the rapper is from and even attempts to sit with her and her friend.
Ice Spice does not engage with her and is seen pointing toward the exit, seemingly asking her to leave them alone. However, the situation escalates quickly when the woman suddenly slaps her.
Despite the incident, Ice Spice and her friend were not injured and appeared fine afterward.
Her lawyer confirmed that the matter has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), and legal steps are now being taken. He also said they intend to ensure the person responsible is held accountable.
Speaking about the incident, Ice Spice’s lawyer Bradford Cohen said, “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly.” He added, “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”
