Meghan Markle sells outfit worn during meeting with survivors of Bondi beach terror attack
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Meghan Markle’s recent visit to Bondi Beach has taken an unexpected turn online, with the outfit she wore while meeting survivors of a deadly attack now being listed for sale.
The moment, which was deeply emotional on the ground, quickly found its way onto a fashion platform where fans can shop her exact look.
The Duchess of Sussex, who visited the Sydney beach alongside Prince Harry on Friday, April 17, was seen speaking to survivors and first responders of the late 2025 attack.

The outfit Meghan wore during the visit - a blue and white striped Matteau shirt, white ‘sailor jeans’, and Freda Salvador trainers - was featured on OneOff, an AI-powered fashion platform.
Accessories, including her Brochu Walker sunglasses and a brown suede bag, were also listed.
The page, which presents her as ‘Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’, includes multiple images from her Australia trip, each linked to items fans can purchase.
Prince Harry also appears in the featured images, though the focus remains largely on Meghan’s outfit.
The platform allows users to shop celebrity-inspired looks, and verified figures like Meghan earn a share of the revenue whenever a purchase is made.
The commission reportedly ranges from 10 to 25 per cent per item sold.
All of Meghan’s outfits from the Australia visit have been uploaded in near real-time, including the one worn during the Bondi engagement.
Visit to Bondi marked by emotional conversations with survivors
On the ground, the visit itself was far from commercial. Meghan and Harry spent time listening to survivors and first responders connected to the attack that took place in December 2025, where 15 lives were lost.
The Duchess appeared visibly moved as she spoke to those affected. Among them was Jessica Chapnik Kahn, who survived the attack while protecting her young daughter.
Recounting the moment, she shared, “When the gunshots started, we started running towards the beach, and it became very clear we weren't going to make it to the beach and stay alive. So we hid in a picnic area.”
She added, “I didn't want my daughter to die with gunshots and sirens and wailing mothers – I just couldn't reconcile that those would be her last moments.”
In a deeply emotional memory, she said, “So I spoke really clearly into her ear, and I said: ‘My darling, go inside yourself where all the love is, and stay there. Stay in your heart, my baby.’”
Reflecting on meeting Meghan and Harry, she described it as an “honour,” adding, “The greater problem in the world right now is hate… So to highlight that, to be able to connect with them on this heart level, I think is very special.”
First responders share their experience
The couple also met lifeguards and first responders who were present during the attack. Lifeguard Jonathan Botts spoke about the impact of their visit.
“We had about 50 people at a Christmas party upstairs here at the surf club,” he said. “We unfortunately witnessed the whole shooting massacre unfolding in front of our eyes.”
He added that their presence meant a lot to those affected. “They've taken time out of their pretty brief visit to Australia to visit the site and meet with some of the people that were involved and a lot of the people who are affected.”

Harry and Meghan also visited the Sydney Jewish Museum, where they viewed artefacts that will be part of a memorial exhibition. These included messages, flowers, and personal items left behind in tribute to the victims.
Shannon Biederman, the museum’s senior curator, said, “This event has not only changed the Australian Jewish community, but the Australian community at large.”
She added, “It’s ensuring that it's not forgotten.”
Meghan Markle’s fashion platform link draws attention online
While the visit itself focused on remembrance and connection, the online listing of Meghan’s outfit added another layer to the moment.
As her Bondi look continues to circulate online, the overlap between her public appearances and fashion presence remains a talking point.
One user on X commented, saying,”Meghan is literally merching her wardrobe that she wore while visiting the Bondi Beach massacre site."

Smiling all the way to the bank! A class act there Harry! This is why you can’t merch and performative “charity” don’t mix."

Another added, “I am really starting to believe the "fake royals" aren't so fake. This has gone on for years & nothing has been done to stop them. The countries, dignitaries, presidents, money, trips, gifts, etc... they are working as foreign agents of The Palace."
