OREM, UTAH: A new video is out where a field reporter, Tayler Hansen, recreated the path that Tyler Robinson took on the day he allegedly shot and killed conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

In a recreation video he put together and uploaded on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on September 21, Hansen traced the path taken by Kirk’s alleged shooter, Robinson, that matches his existing footage caught on security cameras.

The video includes the snapshots that were released earlier, in which Robinson was seen walking through a neighbourhood on his way to and from the campus.

Hansen himself walks through the same neighbourhood, continuing to the rooftop of the campus building, where Robinson allegedly set up the position before shooting Kirk. The recreational video stands out due to its fresh perspective from the ground level, which is different from the aerial drone shots and security camera angles that most people have seen.

Hansen even walks through the campus security cameras that captured Robinson, which were released by the federal authorities while he was still a person of interest. The video also highlights how Robinson walked directly past several cameras, which resulted in sharp visuals of him.

Hansen also highlighted the lack of security cameras in a specific area of the campus, indicating that the path was easily accessible to the murderer.

The video also shows how the accused first went onto campus, left, then later returned with a gun and ran away after the shooting, which matches the version of the authorities, tracing each movement Robinson allegedly took that day.

Addressing speculations surrounding Charlie Kirk's murder

The reporter under the video also addressed public skepticism surrounding Kirk’s shooting, saying that distrust in institutions has fueled speculations.

He also asserted that his video is based on extensive research and direct conversations with law enforcement, which aims to debunk misinformation.

He also confirmed that more videos will be released to counter such speculations.

Robinson is currently being held at a jail in Utah, after a court on September 16 filed seven charges against him, including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering.

The prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for him, who called Kirk’s murder an “American Tragedy”.

According to court filings, Robinson sent a text message to his live-in partner after the murder, which linked him to the case and supported the prosecution's claim.

Conservative activist and Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder, Kirk, was shot dead on September 10 while speaking at a public debate event at the Utah Valley University campus.
