WASHINGTON, DC: In a campaign email on Wednesday, June 12, former President Donald Trump continued his post-conviction threats of revenge against his enemies.

He wrote, "Haul out the Guillotine!" as he accused his political opponents of targeting him and his supporters.

This is the latest instance of the presumptive GOP presidential candidate's calls for violence and retaliation following his historic conviction on 34 felony counts.

'They want me beheaded': Donald Trump draws parallels to Kathy Griffin incident

Trump shared the message with his supporters, asking them to stand with him as he races to make up for the lost time on the campaign trail after having spent weeks in a Manhattan courtroom.

"They want me BEHEADED after this verdict," he wrote in the email. Trump mentioned comedian Kathy Griffin, who in 2017, faced significant backlash over a photoshoot in which she held a replica of Trump's bloodied and severed head, according to Axios.

"Remember when that Sicko Kathy Griffin made the rounds parading my BEHEADED head when I was President?! The radical-left CHEERED! Obama and Biden were SILENT! And the Fake News BLASTED it everywhere!" Trump’s email stated.

Griffin was fired from hosting CNN's New Year's Eve coverage following the incident and, earlier this year, she claimed the Justice Department considered charging her for the stunt.

Donald Trump dismisses 'guilty' verdict, says he won't be stopped

Trump claimed that the left wanted him gone and suggested that they were coming for every other Trump supporter.

“The SAD and HORRIFIC TRUTH is that this is STILL the Sick Dream of every Trump-Deranged lunatic out there!” he continued. “And it’s not just me they want gone, THEY’RE REALLY COMING AFTER YOU!” Trump added.

In the latter part of the email, the former president dismissed the "guilty" verdict. "The so-called "GUILTY" VERDICT didn’t make him flinch," the email stated.

He argued that his various legal battles won’t stop him but support from his voter base “keeps the Trump Train in motion” and there has never been a more critical time to “shout with your chest and say I’m voting Trump.”

Internet reacts to Donald Trump's latest campaign email

The email has sparked a range of reactions online. One user on X commented, "Desperation is what this is!" Another user expressed concern writing, "I’m sorry but he is threatening the American people with violence and death. Where is the @DOJNatSec and the @FBI?"

Reactions varied with some criticizing the normalization of Trump's rhetoric. "That's it? No, 'this is batshit insane for a presidential candidate to put in a fundraising email'? Stop normalizing Trump," wrote one.

"Grifters will grift. The part that strikes me is when they keep trying the tired fake narrative ‘they’re coming after you’ no American is anything like DJT. His crimes are related to cheating to win an election and attempting a coup," wrote another.

Some commenters suggested Trump's rhetoric was a sign of desperation. "He’s turning up the heat on his supporters, he’s obviously not getting the results he wants."

Another noted, "This is so disgusting. No real American would approve of this."  One user observed, "Fear, lies, hate, rage, bigotry are all they’ve got. It’s sad how effective they’ve been with millions of people."
