"I went to her house and cried on her shoulder. But when I went to her house she forgot I was coming over and no joke, she met me at the door naked," she added, causing the panel of hosts to burst into giggles.

"Naked! And then held me naked doing breathing exercises!" she exclaimed.

During the candid conversation, co-host Sara Haines interjected with a light-hearted remark, stating, "That's what friends are for!"

Griffin's response reflected the depth of her gratitude towards Stone, affirming, "That is a good friend."

When asked about her current emotional state following the breakup, Griffin didn't shy away from revealing her vulnerability. Admitting to feelings of heartbreak and sadness, she credited her close-knit group of friends for providing unwavering support during this challenging period.

"My girlfriends are circling the wagons, and what would we do without our girlfriends? It's true, it's really true," Griffin shared, highlighting the invaluable role her friends play in her life. She also expressed gratitude for the support of her LGBTQ+ friends, affectionately referred to them as "my gays."

Acknowledging her tumultuous journey in recent years, Griffin opened up about facing numerous obstacles, including being placed on no-fly lists, encountering airport detainments, battling drug addiction, and surviving a suicide attempt.

"And I was on a psych hold for three days so was like Britney (Spears) and Kanye (West) combined and it's like I walked into my own act. Psych hold for three days!" she repeated.

"But now I'm in recovery and sober three and a half years."

In December, PEOPLE confirmed that the renowned comedian and television personality had filed for divorce after four years of marriage. The news of their split emerged as Griffin submitted the divorce paperwork to the Superior Court of California, according to reports initially disclosed by TMZ.

In court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Griffin cited "irreconcilable differences" as the primary grounds for their separation, listing the date of their parting as December 22. The legal filings further revealed Griffin's request for the termination of the court's ability to award spousal support to either party. Additionally, she sought the enforcement of a premarital agreement dated December 23, 2019.

The announcement of their divorce arrived just days before what would have marked their fourth wedding anniversary. Responding to the news on Instagram, Griffin expressed her sentiments succinctly, writing, "Well...s**t. This sucks."

Griffin and Bick embarked on their romantic journey in 2011, but their union wasn't formalized until January 2020. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony officiated by Lily Tomlin, with Griffin donning the same dress she wore on their first date.
