NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Vivek Ramaswamy, a former GOP presidential primary candidate, chose not to disclose the specific role he would seek if former President Donald Trump were to return to the White House, during his conversation with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

This came after Ramaswamy suspended his campaign after falling short at Iowa caucuses, earning fourth position among the candidates.

During his speech at the Iowa primary, he confirmed he’s dropping out of the presidential race and endorsed Donald Trump for the presidency.

The conversation between Ramaswamy and Hannity was re-tweeted by the former on X, formerly known as Twitter, as many people on social media applauded the businessman for supporting Trump.

Vivek Ramaswamy endorses Donald Trump as president on ‘Hannity’

Vivek Ramaswamy re-tweeted a post on X which read, “.@seanhannity asks @VivekGRamaswamy what job he would want in a Trump administration: "I'm all-in for the country right now. My focus is making sure we elect Trump as the next President. It's not about me; it's not about Trump; it's not about one man. It's about this country."

In the interview, Sean Hannity asked Vivek Ramaswamy about a possible job in a second Trump administration.

To this, Ramaswamy responded saying, “There’s a lot of ways to drive change in this country, inside and outside government.”

He continued, “For the last few years, I’ve been doing it through the market. I started to strive to compete directly against black rock, state street and vanguard. That’s what I was doing for the couple of years before I ran for US President for the year running into it.”

“And so, I’m all in for the country. Right now, my focus is making sure we do elect Donald Trump as the next president of the United States. It’s not even about me, Trump or about one man. It’s about this country. So that’s what I’m most focused on.”

Ramaswamy further stated, “Whatever it is for the country, I’m all in to do the right thing.”

Hannity also asked the businessman why he thinks “Nikki Haley or Governor DeSantis should not stay in”, to which Ramaswamy said, “At this point, I think it was fair to run this all the way through Iowa, but the people spoke loudly and decisively and I do see an opportunity here.”

He continued, “I know a lot of people might laugh at this idea, but I see an opportunity to reunite the country and that starts with reuniting our Republican party. So running it through Iowa is fair game.”

“I got about 8% support, I think I was about to get something similar in New Hampshire. I think it was better to give Trump a decisive victory and I would ask for everybody who was considering supporting me in New Hampshire, libertarians included, to go into Trump’s direction into this primary. Let’s focus on taking the America first agenda to the next level.”
