BOCA GRANDE, FLORIDA: Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson has ignited fascination and skepticism after claiming he would “immediately” publicize any proof he discovers of extraterrestrial contact.

In recent media appearances, Carlson asserted his strong belief that the US government has communicated with non-human entities, teasing ominous implications while offering no concrete evidence.

Tucker Carlson promises to immediately release proof of aliens once he finds it

During a recent appearance on the 'Breaking Points' podcast, Carlson made headlines by claiming he would “immediately” release any proof he uncovers related to aliens and UFOs, regardless of the consequences.

Carlson told hosts Saagar Enjeti and Krystall Ball that “after a lot of conversations,” he believes the US government has likely had direct contact with aliens “over a period of years,” which he finds “really disturbing.”

“If I could prove any of this, I would say it immediately, consequences be damned,” Carlson stated. He also mentioned a “spiritual component” to the phenomenon that he does not fully grasp.

The conservative news firebrand’s comments come amid his escalating coverage of UFOs and a government report earlier this year that failed to explain numerous sightings of mysterious flying objects. However, just days before his promise of radical transparency, Carlson admitted feeling unnerved about delving deeper into the topic.

Tucker Carlson acknowledges knowing 'really, really, really dark' information about UFOs

Appearing on the conservative 'Redacted' podcast on December 12, Carlson told hosts Natali and Clayton Morris that he hesitates investigating UFOs further because of disturbing information he has learned, per Newsweek.

“The UFO story...bothers me,” Carlson said. “If you talk to people who have actual knowledge of it that they gathered themselves, there are parts of that story that I do not understand at all that are really, really, really dark.”

Without elaborating on the exact nature of the details that trouble him, Carlson continued, “There’s a spiritual component there that I don’t fully understand. That story bothers me.”

Both Carlson and Clayton hinted they know things they haven’t even shared with their families. “It’s so dark,” Carlson said. “I haven’t even told my wife about it. And this is not just stuff I read on the internet. It’s deeply disturbing stuff.”

Tucker Carlson's remarks about aliens and UFOs prompt diverse internet reactions

Carlson's recent assertions stirred a frenzy online, prompting diverse reactions from netizens. Some expressed curiosity and anticipation for potential disclosure, while others remained skeptical, questioning the credibility of Carlson's claims.

One user expressed a preference for national security, stating, "As cool as it would be to know there are aliens, I would much rather have a secure US border." Another remained undecided, saying, "I’m on the fence and can fall either way. Always been fascinated by all of it."

A more skeptical viewpoint emerged with a user questioning the secrecy: "If the knowledge about the aliens was harmless, we would know it already." Conversely, an optimistic user anticipated disclosure, asserting, "Tucker is getting close to disclosure. The truth will come out."

However, criticism arose as well. A user pointed out inconsistencies, stating, "I'm open-minded but see no proof. He contradicted himself, saying not from elsewhere but then saying the USA has bodies/craft parts. He is hurting his credibility by jumping into the speculation world."

Another user expressed distrust, highlighting the risk of misinformation, stating, "The problem with this subject is that if I wanted someone to spread misinformation, it’s difficult to pick a better person."
