Chris Watts' murder house hits the market for sale

The house where Chris committed his heinous act in Colorado is now on the market, according to the Daily Mail. It's a grim reminder of the tragedy that unfolded on August 13, 2018, when Chris strangled his pregnant wife and took the lives of their two young daughters.

Inside those walls, Chris ended the life of Shanann, carrying their unborn son, and then disposed of their bodies, Shanann and their daughters, Bella and Celeste, in his truck, suffocating the little ones with a blanket.

Despite changing hands in 2022 for $600,000, real estate agents have found it challenging to sell, haunted by its dark history.

Situated at 2825 Saratoga Trail in Frederick, Colorado, the 4,200-square-foot home boasts stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. Yet, Chris initially bought it in 2013 for around $400,000, but financial woes plagued the family, as per the Daily Mail.

By 2015, they were grappling with bankruptcy, struggling to meet mortgage payments, and even embroiled in legal disputes with the homeowner's association. Following Chris's arrest in 2018, the house sat empty, eventually facing foreclosure.

Chris now resides behind bars, serving multiple life sentences and additional years with no chance of parole at the Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun, Wisconsin.

Internet users suggest the house should be ripped down

Numerous users on Facebook demanded the demolition of the house, with one writing, "That house should have been demolished and something else rebuilt."

Another user wrote, "Demolish and build a playground in memory of cece and Bella and the baby boy ♥️."

A user commented, "That house should be demolished is pure evil after what he did it's haunted."

Another user commented, "It should be ripped down and have a small playground memorial built."

A user stated, "They needed to demolish that house and built a new one or place a memorial park or garden there."

Another user stated, "I can’t imagine being there. Evil once lived there."
