NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The individuals, who confronted two police officers in Times Square last weekend, were reportedly identified as members of a group of aggressive shoplifters, described as a "wolfpack".

Just moments before the altercation with the police, the same group had reportedly stolen handbags from a nearby store and assaulted an employee who attempted to intervene, according to the store manager, as reported to the New York Post.

Following this news, Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to slam Joe Biden as many people on the internet also shared their frustration.

Laura Ingraham reports on two migrants assaulting a store employee

Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “Biden’s waiving in the best of the best.”

Ingraham shared an article by the New York Post which was titled “Migrants behind Times Square cop-beating shoplifted, assaulted store employee moments earlier: police sources.”

In the article, it was reported that the migrants who jumped at NYC cops in Times Square were reportedly seen snatching handbags in a nearby store and attacking an employee.

The manager, who requested anonymity, revealed that the group of migrants, known for frequenting the area around the Candler Building shelter on West 42nd Street near Seventh Avenue “always come in and take the handbags then they run. They do it all the time. It’s just ridiculous.”

On January 27, around 8:30 pm, the manager reported that a group of five or six men entered Aldo, a store, and swiftly grabbed handbags valued at up to $85 each from a table.

Amid the theft, a confrontation ensued with the cashier, prompting the manager to call the police for assistance.

The manager further said, “When I came upstairs, she was tussling, trying to get the bag back. She got one bag back and the other guys took like two or three other bags.”

Upon the police's arrival, they proceeded to review the store's security footage, capturing on video the thieves engaged in the act of stealing handbags.

The manager recalled, “The cop said ‘Alright, I’m gonna look outside to see if I see one of them and if I do, I’m gonna make an arrest.’”

“As soon as he was walking outside, everyone just started running. And those Spanish dudes jumped the police officer right there. It was insane,” she stated.

In response to the incident, the manager took the decisive step of temporarily closing down the store. She instructed the customers present at the time to remain on the premises.

She said, “I was standing right there in front of the window. I was like, ‘Oh my God, look, look, look.’ l couldn’t believe what my eyes just saw.”

The manager reported that an identical group of individuals consistently loiters outside her store daily.

According to another manager from a nearby Lids store, this same group is known for frequently stealing items from their store, “sometimes multiple times a day”, the manager there said.

Harriel Brathwaite Jr from Lids store told the outlet, “The migrants are going crazy out here. They act like they’re shopping and they’ll put it in their little bag, they’ll put in with their baby in the strollers. They’ll walk in the door and just scoop a couple of hats and run.”

The seven men who have been apprehended in connection with the assault on the police officer and NYPD lieutenant last Saturday are reported to have come from shelters located in other boroughs, as stated by the NYPD.

Authorities are actively searching for an additional six suspects believed to be involved in the incident.

Internet expresses frustration over horrific incident

Many X users expressed their frustration over the ongoing migrant crisis.

One person wrote, “No price too high for the Dem to stay in power,” while another added, “And Congress apparently does not give a darn about the safety of Americans.  If they did, the border would be closed immediately, and Biden would be impeached.”

An X user slammed Biden and asked, “About time to sue this sleepy man for all of his insurrections?” while another wrote, “Biden's ruined this country in 3 short years!”

One more person said, “This is such a bad time for our country. For the 37% thank think he is doing a good job, shame on you! You should be the ones paying for all the illegals coming here."

Another added, “Deport all illegal aliens until the streets are safe.”
