NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The View' host Joy Behar has given Jennifer Lopez some advice regarding relationships and publicizing them amid the singer's potential divorce rumors from husband Ben Affleck.
Affleck and the actress-singer have had a difficult marriage from the beginning, but insiders close to the pair have revealed that they are officially parting ways.

'The View' co-host — who has personal experience with divorce — expressed her opinions about the separation rumors on Friday, May 17, by saying, "Not that we want to gossip about people. We don't, because we're talking about a friend of the show."
Referring to rumors that the couple's marriage is on the rocks since they haven't been spotted together for more than a month, Behar said, "People are buzzing. That's all I have to say," per Entertainment Weekly.

During her live program, Behar brought up the rekindled romance between Lopez and Affleck, who briefly dated from 2002 to 2004. The TV host advised the actress to keep details of her personal life private.
The 81-year-old host remarked, "When you go around shouting your love from the rooftops, it gets tricky when things don't go well. My advice is keep your mouth shut."
"I don't even tell [my second husband] Steve I love him in public. I don't say it in private either, but still. Telling everybody how much you love each other and writing it on Instagram and on Facebook, and then you get a divorce and everybody says 'Oh, you see!?'" Behar continued.
Behar's remarks touched a nerve with the audience after Lopez discussed her love life in her most recent studio album, 'This Is Me... Now.'
The actress recounted her relationship with Affleck and their recent reunion, which came decades after their first meeting.
Lopez has been publicly expressing her love for Affleck on social media for the past three years. In several conversations, Affleck, for his part, has likewise gone romantic about his wife.
The 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' singer, however, gained attention on Thursday, May 16, for a different kind of social media interaction when she "liked" a cryptic post regarding toxic relationships.

Social media users took to X to express their agreement with Joy Behar with one user stating, "She’s right about that!"
A second user added, "She’s right. Singing your love from the instagram rooftops can be tricky when it doesn’t work out then. You end up looking foolish or insincere."
"Wow! I find myself agreeing with her," exclaimed a third user.
A fourth one added, "Did anyone really think Lopez and Affleck would work? He's a train wreck with addiction issues and she's a needy, high maintenance diva. Plus, Ben is used to Jennifer Garner who is more normal, decent and supportive than the vast majority of Hollywood. J. Lo isn't Jennifer!"

Several others slammed Behar for offering marital advice, despite being divorced herself, with one remarking on Facebook, "Joy Behar ought to take her own advice."
A second one noted, "It would be nice if Joy Behar could lead by example!", while another one snarked, "That’s something that Behar should practice."
"It's so comforting to have the omniscient, omnipresent and wisest of all humans to give her eternal wisdom to all," mocked one.
One more wrote, "Everyone in the world wishes joy would keep her mouth shut"
"Imagine joy behar telling someone to keep her mouth shut.i don't care for jlo,I think she's an arrogant full of herself diva,but at least I could have a beer with her.at least I don't hate jlo.but I despise joy behar," seethed another one.
