Jesse Watters slammed after Naomi Biden calls out anchor for saying Joe Biden is 'not the best father'
WASHINGTON, DC: A war of words broke out this week between Fox News host Jesse Watters and an unlikely opponent - President Joe Biden's granddaughter, Naomi Biden. The spat started when Watters made inflammatory comments tying Joe's border policies to his skills as a father, as reported by Newsweek.
Naomi took to X to blast the host's "ugly" rhetoric, saying he crossed the line by attacking her family. Her post quickly went viral, receiving support from users across social media praising her stand against extreme partisan attacks.
I have heard so many lies about my family, it takes a lot to make me upset. This crosses the line. Not sure how this man can call himself a reporter and I hope he never has a son or daughter who struggles with anything. You can disagree with his policies without being this ugly. pic.twitter.com/pekQicZewo

Jesse Watters compares Joe Biden's border policies to his parenting skills
During a Fox News broadcast on Monday, January 22, from Bedford, New Hampshire, Watters linked Joe's immigration policies to his abilities as a father.
"I knew Biden was bad on the border because he's not the best father," Watters said. "The man can't say no to his own son. He can't say, 'Stop.' He can't have consequences for actions." "And that's what you need, you need a man in charge, on the border, to say, 'This is not going to be allowed,'" he continued.
The remarks came as President Biden continues to face criticism from Republicans over his handling of immigration and record numbers of migrants crossing the southern border. However, Watters took his critique a step further by digging into Joe's relationship with his son Hunter Biden.
Naomi Biden slams Jesse Watters for his lies and ugly remarks about her family
Upon seeing a clip of the segment, Naomi took to social media to call out Watters' commentary.
"I have heard so many lies about my family, it takes a lot to make me upset," she wrote on X Wednesday night, January 24. "This crosses the line. Not sure how this man can call himself a reporter and I hope he never has a son or daughter who struggles with anything."
"You can disagree with his policies without being this ugly," she added about her grandfather. Naomi, the daughter of Hunter, has largely stayed out of the political spotlight. But Watters' personal attacks on her family appeared to spur her to speak up.
The 30-year-old has also called out other conservative figures in the past for their rhetoric about Hunter's substance abuse issues. Her father has been open about his lifelong struggle with drug and alcohol addiction, which critics have frequently used as a line of attack against the POTUS.
