In July 2022, Florida-born rapper Kodak Black was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after being pulled over by the Florida Highway Patrol for driving an SUV with excessively dark window tints.

The officers detected a marijuana smell, leading to a search of the vehicle where they discovered a small bag containing 31 oxycodone tablets and nearly $75,000 in cash. It was also found that Black's vehicle tag and driver’s license had expired.

Later in 2022, Black was arrested again in South Florida on trespassing charges, but prosecutors eventually dropped the case.

In 2019, the 'Tunnel Vision' rapper was reportedly sentenced to 46 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to weapons charges related to his arrest before a scheduled concert performance.

However, in January 2020, his sentence was commuted by then-outgoing president Donald Trump, per USA Today.

The compilation of the rapper's mugshots over the years has become a trending topic online following his latest arrest.
