LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: People on social media were hysterical when they saw a video of a woman going absolutely bonkers on a Spirit Airlines flight, leading to her arrest.

But this isn't the only time Spirit Airlines has made headlines. In December 2023, the airlier caused quite a stir online when they mistakenly put an unaccompanied minor on a flight to Orlando instead of sending him to Fort Myers, where his grandmother was eagerly awaiting for his arrival.

Woman arrested after behaving unusually on Spirit Airlines

According to the Daily Mail, chaos erupted aboard a Spirit Airlines flight departing from Las Vegas when a woman had a wild outburst, even screaming racial slurs as cops tried to remove her from the plane.

In a viral video circulated online, a female passenger on the Spirit Airlines flight caused quite a scene, prompting those around her to start filming and laughing. At the start of the video, the woman can be heard yelling phrases like "let this go" and "can I do that with freedom?" while police officers attempt to calm her down. "All I care about is freedom," she shouted.

Things escalated when she allegedly attempted to bite the person seated next to her. When an officer informed her of her impending arrest, the passenger retorted, "that's fine! I've been there before."

She then turned to the passengers behind her, screaming, "I'm not scared! I've been there before," while standing up to confront them. The woman the suddenly starts yelling and accusing one of the officers of hurting her before shockingly saying racial slurs.

The situation continued to escalate as the woman cried out, "He's hurting my wrist. You're hurting me, sheriff," while the officers attempted to handcuff her.

In a moment of distress, she tipped her head back and cried, "I can't breathe," twice, despite minimal physical contact from the officers. Though unclear what triggered her meltdown, the disturbance began before the flight even took off, as noted.

The individual who shared the video mentioned that all passengers had to deplane to allow authorities to handle the situation.
