WASHINGTON, DC: A newly released audio of Sen JD Vance (R-OH) asserting that Democrats without children are in turn, attempting to "brainwash" them, has been met with widespread criticism.
MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace expressed strong disagreement with his remarks during her show on Friday, July 26, according to RawStory. She went on to say that Donald Trump’s running mate has "spent the last few years saying some of the weirdest most offensive and off-putting things," including branding female Democratic leaders as "a bunch of childless cat ladies."

In his 2021 radio interview with Breitbart, Ohio Sen JD Vance expressed strong opinions, alleging that Democratic leaders who do not have biological children are attempting to indoctrinate children.
"So many of their next generation leaders – you know, the Cory Bookers, the Kamala Harrises – they don't have kids, and so there's this weird way where they want to take our kids and brainwash them so that their ideas continue to exist," claimed the Republican.
He added, "Parents get to raise their children, families get to raise their children, not the state, not the leaders of the left. If you want to brainwash children: have your own kids to brainwash. Leave your hands off mine."
"There’s no evidence any of that is true," interjected Wallace as the audio from the resurfaced 2021 interview stopped playing.
The 'Deadline White House' host then criticized the defense Vance presented in a recent interview with Megyn Kelly, where he claimed that his remarks were sarcastic and misunderstood, as his "seeming commitment to keep digging in his repeated attacks on the women of this country."
"You know, not working," said Wallace, adding, "The idea that people who haven't had children don't have rewarding lives is still offensive to everyone, even those of us who don't have kids."
The adverse response towards Vance has proven advantageous for Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign, evidenced by a record-breaking Zoom fundraiser that garnered over 136,000 participants and raised more than $1 million from Democratic women.
