WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President Kamala Harris was seen clapping along and beaming after a person started singing in Spanish at a community center in Puerto Rico last week, according to the New York Post.

After leaving the Goyoco community center in San Juan, Harris had wandered into a courtyard when the demonstrator started singing in Spanish.

Kamala Harris unknowingly nods along to song protesting her visit

Kamala Harris was captured on camera on Friday, March 22, excitedly applauding and grinning while a group played drums and sang in Spanish.

However, her expression darkened as an aide leaned over to talk to her, maybe to translate the lyrics. At that moment, Harris stopped clapping, dropped her hands, and took a more serious look.

The song's lyrics, when translated to English, meant, "We want to know, Kamala, what did you come to do? We want to know, Kamala, what is going to happen?"

Notably, the Vice President, as well as the policies of the Biden administration overall, were targeted by the song's lyrics.

In what is shaping up to be a brutal presidential election year, the Democrat's popularity ratings have been declining due to several stumbles, the most recent of which is this one.

In front of the vice president, a group of six protestors were singing a song in which they expressed solidarity for the Palestinian people amid the battle between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, as well as for Haiti, where gang violence poses a danger to the island's administration.

According to a DailyMail.com translation, the protestors said in the song, "Long live free Palestine and Haiti too."

Notably, while in Puerto Rico, the Vice President was highlighting the initiatives taken by the Biden administration to aid in the island nation's attempts at rehabilitation and revitalization. While traveling, she went to campaign events as well.

Harris has gained notoriety over the years for her "word salads", in which she talks in circles and repeats sentences until they are no longer meaningful.

She told reporters in 2023 that because "community banks are in the community", investing in them benefits the community as a whole.

Internet trolls Kamala Harris for nodding along to song protesting her visit to Puerto Rico

Several internet users slammed Kamala Harris as she clapped along while beaming at a person who was protesting her visit to Puerto Rico.

One user wrote on X, "Awkward everyday," while another said, "Indistinguishable from a seal."

Another person said, "Her happy pills had just kicked in, and then the buzz kill came out of the blue."

One person wrote, "She is quite the tool," while one added, "Fellas if she can make it, we’re all gonna make it."

One person wrote, "She literally claps at everything. Is dementia contagious."
