Hannity’s tweet presented a small clip of Joe Biden where he was “confused” after delivering his remarks.
Biden’s visit to Milwaukee was to “celebrate the progress we’re making to support” Black-owned small businesses across the nation.
President Biden's recent trip to Wisconsin marked his seventh visit to the state since taking office and the third this year, underscoring the critical role the swing state plays in upcoming elections.
In Wisconsin, particularly in Milwaukee, Black voter turnout holds significant importance for a Democratic candidate's chances of winning the state.
Biden's visit coincided with a challenging political landscape, as his job approval rating in November stood at 40 percent, according to a Marquette University Law School Poll. Additionally, the poll indicated that former President Donald Trump was leading against Biden among registered voters in the 2024 presidential race.
Despite these challenges, the White House highlighted a positive development: Black business ownership is experiencing its fastest growth in 30 years. Biden emphasized this success during his address at the Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce, signaling the administration's commitment to fostering economic opportunities and addressing the concerns of the Black community.
During his speech, Biden said, “When Black small businesses grow, everything benefits. The community benefits. Everyone benefits… and it gives hope and prospects for people."
He highlighted the positive impact on communities, asserting that when these businesses thrive, everyone reaps the benefits.
According to Biden, “Every new business opening is a vote for hope.”
