NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Senator Ron Johnson, a Republican from Wisconsin, recently slammed President Joe Biden and Democrats on Fox News’ ‘The Ingraham Angle’ accusing them of creating a "game plan" for intentionally destroying America.

He suggested that, in his view, their actions have led to the intentional ruin of the country.

Alongside Johnson, Senator Eric Schmitt also appeared on the show and debated on continued US aid to Ukraine and border security.

Following this news, Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her conversation with the senators.

However, the internet blasted Johnson’s remarks as several X users expressed their frustration against the senator on Ingraham’s tweet.

Laura Ingraham reports on Ron Johnson suggesting Democrats are destroying America

Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to X and wrote, “There is no strategy for Ukraine to win: Sen Ron Johnson.”

Ingraham’s tweet featured a video of Senator Ron Johnson and Missouri Republican Senator Eric Schmitt who appeared on ‘The Ingraham Angle’ to discuss their stance on the push for more aid to Ukraine.

Ingraham brought up Harvard board member Fiona Hill's comment about "standing up" for Ukraine, prompting the GOP senators to share their thoughts on the matter.

Johnson called out Fiona Hill, noting that America has already been "diminished."

He attributed this diminishment to President Joe Biden and Democrats, accusing them of pursuing a "strategy to destroy this country."

He said, “First of all, let me say that she’s a little late threatening that because we’ve already seen a diminished America. If you were to ask to design a strategy to destroy this country, you could not ask for a better game plan than what President Biden and Democrats recommend.”

Ingraham questioned him, “Does it seem purposeful to you?”

Johnson questioned the purported lack of purpose behind the strategy, emphasizing what he sees as the failures of President Biden and the Democrats over the past three years.

He specifically pointed to the surrender of Afghanistan, suggesting that it "emboldened" Putin to take action in Ukraine, and highlighting what he perceives as a display of "weakness" from the United States.

He said, “How could it almost not be? I mean, the open borders, the 40-year high inflation, war on fossil fuel, the embarrassing and dangerous surrender in Afghanistan which has emboldened Putin – that’s why Putin is in Ukraine because we surrendered in Afghanistan.”

“He saw the weakness. That’s what the moles are seeing. That’s what President Xi sees. So they’re destroying this country – democratic governance is,” Johnson added.

This came after Biden announced that the US would provide $200 million in pre-approved aid for Ukraine after a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as reported by NewsNation on Tuesday.

Additionally, the president is urging Congress to pass a $110 billion package, with $61.4 billion allocated to Ukraine for wartime aid, according to the outlet.

Internet calls Ron Johnson an ‘evil dog’

After Laura Ingraham shared her conversation with Ron Johnson who criticized Joe Biden and Democrats for planning to destroy America, several X users bashed the senator.

One person wrote, “Well then. If Ron Johnson said it, the truth must be the exact opposite,” and another said, “This coming from Ron Johnson...who spent July 4th in Moscow in 2018! Manchurian candidate?”

An X user simply called out Johnson saying, “He's wrong,” and another wrote, “Nothing new from Moscow Ron.”

One more person slammed Johnson, “From the same guy that lies about COVID and every other thing when he opens his mouth. He is hated in WI and known as the worst Senator since McCarthy.”

Another called him, “Johnson is a Evil Dog,” and one X user mocked the senator adding, “Ron Johnson is a terrible Senator  who says stupid stuff without thinking it through.”

One more wrote, “Of course there is a strategy to win, @SenRonJohnson is a Putin Puppet so it’s quite apparent he would rather rally for Putin.”
