NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: As per reports, police were unable to ascertain how pages of the manifesto of Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale got leaked in November.

In an email on Friday, December 8, the Metro Nashville Police Department stated that they have "exhausted all available investigative avenues" in their hunt for the person(s) who leaked parts of mass shooter Hale's manifesto, as per Fox News

Authorities don't have the 'ability to compel statements or cooperation from former employees' regarding leak of Audrey Hale's manifesto

It was discovered by investigators that two officers from the Specialized Investigations Division had taken photos of the handwritten manifesto when they found it in Hale's car close to the crime scene.

Following the manifesto leak, seven Nashville officers were apparently moved to administrative roles.

Investigators, however, claim they were unable to identify the person who gave conservative American-Canadian commentator Steven Crowder, who released the images on November 6, copies of the manifesto.

The police department stated, "The department does not have the ability to compel statements or cooperation from former employees."

At the same time, a few parents of Nashville's The Covenant School have taken action to prevent the manifesto from being released to the public, arguing that it would put more students in danger or encourage other people to commit murder.

For months, the lawsuit has been dragged out. The question of whether Hale's parents and the school have the right to get involved is currently awaiting a decision from an appeals court.

Internet reacts to the 'inconclusive' investigation of Audrey Hale's leaked manifesto

Soon after the news of investigations surrounding Audrey Hale's leaked manifesto turning out to be "inconclusive" made its way on the internet, netizens showed their frustration regarding the situation.

One wrote, "It makes no meaning ending inconvenience," while another said, "Something went wrong."

"They hate when the truth gets out," noted a person, with someone else adding, "I doubt they’re trying very hard."
