Ivanka Trump honors late mom Ivana with rare childhood photos on Mother's Day: 'Beautiful memories'

In her emotional Mother’s Day post, Ivanka Trump paid tribute to both her mother, Ivana Trump, and her maternal grandmother, Marie Zelnickova

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: President Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, paid tribute to her late mother, Ivana Trump, during Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11, by sharing rare childhood photos nearly three years after her death.

The 43-year-old included multiple photos of herself and Ivana throughout the years from childhood to adulthood. A few pictures also showed Ivana with her grandchildren, according to Page Six.

Ivanka Trump honors late mom Ivana Trump on Mother's Day

Ivanka Trump wrote in the caption, "Today, I’m holding close the beautiful memories of my mother, Ivana—her strength, humor, and love continue to guide me every day. I feel her presence in so many moments, especially as I raise my own children."

"I’m also deeply grateful for my grandmother babi who fills our home with wisdom, grace, and unconditional love. Her quiet strength is a gift to all of us, and I cherish the bond she shares with my kids," she added, referring to her maternal grandmother, Marie Zelnickova. 

Ivanka further mentioned, "To every mother, grandmother, and mother figure—thank you for the love you pour into your families and the light you bring into the world."

Ivanka concluded the photo carousel with pictures of herself with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children — Arabella, 13, Joseph, 10, and Theodore, eight.

On July 14, 2022, Ivana died after falling down the stairs of her New York City apartment. She was 73. 

An autopsy obtained by The Post revealed her death was accidental, noting the fall resulted in “blunt impact injuries.”

At the time, Ivanka tweeted that she was “heartbroken by the passing of (her) mother.” “Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She lived life to the fullest — never forgoing an opportunity to laugh and dance. I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always,” she added.

Ivana and Donald married in 1977 and got divorced in 1990. The couple had three children together — Donald Trump Jr, 47, Ivanka, and Eric Trump, 41.

Ivanka Trump paid an emotional tribute to Ivana Trump on what would have been her 76th birthday

Ivanka Trump marked what would have been her mother's 76th birthday on February 20 by sharing a heartfelt message.

She wrote in the caption, "Today would have been your birthday, Mom, and not a day goes by that I don't miss you."

In the post, she reflected on her mother's strong personality and unique charm through pictures from family vacations.

"Your brilliance, charm, passion, and wicked sense of humor continue to inspire me daily," Ivanka added.

She went on to honor her mother’s lively spirit and enthusiasm for life, and expressed admiration for the way she had embraced every moment.

She wrote, "You lived life to the fullest, embracing every opportunity to laugh, play and dance."

Ivanka also expressed her grief and dedication to keeping her mother's memory alive, stating, "I miss you more than words can express and will keep your memory alive in my heart always."
