MIAMI, FLORIDA: President-elect Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka, is not interested in being in the political spotlight alongside his father, despite him winning the 2024 US elections.

The former senior advisor for Trump is 'not going back into politics' and the reasons are clear, an insider close to the Trump administration informed the Daily Mail.

Insider reveals reason why Ivanka Trump is 'not going back into politics'

The source explained to the outlet that things became unpleasant for Ivanka Trump after the insurrection on January 6 and when she was subpoenaed during the investigation into Donald Trump's efforts to stay in power.

The insider said, "She felt like she was being asked to reveal something she did not know anything about and she never wants to be in that position again."

The source added, "Her family means the world to her and she is now focusing on being a mom and other private ventures. She is completely happy where she is in her life."

The insider also mentioned, "She is perfectly finding handing the reins to Lara this time around. Not her circus, not her monkeys."

Lara, Eric Trump's wife, played a key role during Trump's campaign as she stood by his side at many rallies, including two that took place a day before the eve of the election. She is also the co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Ivanka Trump earlier said she did not 'plan to be involved in politics' anymore

Ivanka Trump had earlier said that she did not "plan to be involved in politics" anymore during a statement after her absence from her father's 2022 campaign launch, according to Business Insider

She said during the time, "I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics."

Ivanka did not involve herself during her father's campaign during the 2024 election by not joining him on the campaign trail. This was something opposite to her role in the 2020 and 2016 elections, where she stood by Donald Trump's side at different stops and rallies across the country, according to the Daily Mail.

However, She did make a rare appearance as she joined her family onstage at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. She and her husband, Jared Kushner, were also present for Donald Trump's victory speech at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday, November 5 evening.

She continued, "Relegated to the chorus line, she arrived stuck in the bottleneck at the entrance to the stage, and whereas Trump would once have been seeking her out and presenting her to the audience, she and Jared now seem to be expected to forage for attention on the outskirts, behind Vance and his wife."

James further stated, "She is no longer responding fully to everything her dad says, like Lara. Her eye expression tended to look distanced and a little sad, and she was noticeably not in tune with the audience and other friends and family when it came to applause. While others clapped excitedly, we can see Ivanka and Jared standing to attention with their arms straight to their sides."
