WASHINGTON, DC: Eric Trump, 40, recently opened up about his younger brother Barron, 18, offering him some advice on navigating the attention that comes with being a member of the Trump family.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Eric reflected on the contrasting experiences he and his brother Donald Trump Jr, 46, faced growing up, compared to Barron, who has grown up under a larger spotlight due to their father Donald Trump’s high-profile political career.

"My advice to Barron is you are the most watched person, probably the most watched bachelor in the world right now," Eric advised Barron.

"I'm really lucky, when I was a bachelor we had a lot of attention but not quite the attention that he'll have especially if in 12 days we win. Just be careful, just be careful," he said with a smile, noting that his own bachelor days involved significantly less attention. "There are a lot of eyes on you."

He described Barron as a "great kid" and praised him as "smart." "He's been brought up well and he's gonna have a great future ahead of him," he added.

Eric also shared that Barron has been assisting with the Trump campaign, particularly engaging younger voters through podcasts and social media, spaces where traditional media often fall short.

"He's done a great job pushing some of the youth podcasts and I've pushed the hell out of podcasts because I think traditional media is dying around the world," he said.

Eric Trump speaks about the Trump family's bond

In an in-depth interview with the Daily Mail, Eric Trump discussed various topics, including the assassination attempts on his father, the election campaign, Prince Harry, golf, and what he sees as bias in mainstream media.

He expressed his fondness for his siblings Don Jr and Ivanka, 42, his younger sister Tiffany, 31, from Donald's marriage to Marla Maples, and his 18-year-old brother Barron, whom the former president had after his marriage to Melania Trump.

The family dynamic is undeniably complex, especially when factoring in their business empire and political involvement, creating a potentially volatile mix.

However, at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, held soon after the initial assassination attempt, there were no visible signs of discord. The whole family, including grandchildren, gathered on stage for the iconic balloon drop, set to the powerful strains of "Nessun Dorma."

Eric shared, "It is rather remarkable that the five of us, that the five kids, we are so close and we go out there and fight. And they haven't been able to divide us - and they've tried. They've tried in every way that you can possibly imagine to make it so miserable, so uncomfortable. They haven't been able to do so."

Eric Trump recently offered a rare peek into the personal life of his father, highlighting a side that many don’t often see. Donald, 78, is the grandfather of ten, including Eric's two children, Luke and Carolina, whom he has with his wife Lara Trump, the Republican National Committee co-chair.

Eric described his father's tender moments with his daughter Carolina, who joins him on the golf course.

"My daughter will hop in his golf cart, he'll be out playing, and she'll have a big Pokemon doll or teddy bear and he'll be driving around, the speakers will be blaring because he loves listening to music when he plays, he's running around the golf course drinking Diet Cokes, probably on the phone to some world leader and she's in his arms," Eric recalled.

"It's a lot of fun to see - it's a side of Donald Trump that a lot of people sometimes can't believe. It isn't really out there and it's not one of the things that we really project either," he continued.

As the 2024 election approaches, Eric Trump expressed optimism about his father’s standing in the polls. Recent polls and betting markets suggest Donald Trump has a competitive edge, with some odds giving him a 60% chance of winning.

Eric acknowledged, “It’s going to be close."

Acknowledging tight races and the challenges of previous elections, Eric noted that his family’s rally turnout has been impressive, with huge lines at events across the country.

“We always say as a family, ‘too big to rig,’ and that’s our intention. Hopefully, that’s what these massive lines signify,” he stated.
