Jamie Foxx makes rare comment about expecting his third child at 58: 'Still got it!'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx appears unfazed about becoming a father again at the age of 58.
During an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', Foxx made a rare comment about having another child and also spoke about Al Pacino, who became a father at the age of 83. Foxx is expecting his third child with his 31-year-old girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp.
Jamie Foxx's take on becoming a father again at an older age
On the Tuesday, September 22 episode, Foxx shared, “I got a baby on the way... still got it.” The 'Ray' actor told host Jimmy Kimmel that he’s “about to be back in the drop-off line,” adding, “I wasn’t on the fence about it, but being 58... you know what I’m saying?”
Foxx also shared that he had spoken with Pacino about becoming a father at an older age. “I said, ‘Al, how old are you?’ He said, ‘84.’ I said, ‘Man, you’re gonna be 84 years old back in the drop-off line,’” he recalled. Pacino responded, “‘84 years old, back in the drop-off line, every time I get out, they pull me back in.’”

The 'Django Unchained' actor also joked about his future as a dad, saying, “I even tell my girl, I said, ‘Look, just hang in there for 12 years. If I’m 58, 12 years I’ll be 70 … you’ll just put a blanket over my thighs, give me some tapioca pudding…'”
For those unaware, Foxx is already a proud father of two daughters: Corinne Foxx, 32, whom he shares with his ex Connie Kline, and Anelise Bishop, 17, whom he shares with his ex Kristin Grannis.
Jamie Foxx’s 31-year-old GF Alyce Huckstepp has been a 'loyal' presence in his life
It was first reported in May that Foxx and Huckstepp were expecting their first child together.
The couple was first linked in May 2022 after they were spotted getting intimate on a yacht in Cannes. They briefly split in 2025 after being in a relationship for about three years, but reconciled a few months later.
Three months later, the pair confirmed that they were back together when Huckstepp joined Foxx at the premiere of his movie 'Day Shift'. Huckstepp also stood firmly by Foxx following his 2023 health scare, which he previously revealed involved a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
In April 2024, it was reported that Huckstepp was by the Oscar winner’s side during his medical emergency. PEOPLE cited a source who described her as a “great” and “loyal” presence in Foxx’s life.
