NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jamie Raskin, the ranking member of the committee from the Democratic Party in Maryland, has been discreetly engaging in conversations about Joe Biden’s impeachment with House Republicans he shares close relationships with, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of these discussions, as reported by Fox News Digital.

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to report on Raskin’s efforts ‘behind the doors’ as the representative is persuading the Republicans to abandon the impeachment effort against Biden.

However, the internet brutally slammed Raskin as several X users expressed their frustration on Hannity’s tweet.

Fox News host Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “BEHIND CLOSED DOORS: Efforts Being Made by Raskin to Quash Biden Impeachment Efforts; Report.”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website titled, “BEHIND CLOSED DOORS: Efforts Being Made by Raskin to Quash Biden Impeachment Efforts; Report.”

In the article, it was reported that efforts are being made by House Oversight Committee member Jamie Raskin to quash the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.

Insiders revealed that Raskin has been holding meetings with "right-wing to more moderate members" as part of an initiative to challenge GOP contentions, investigative procedures, and the evidence amassed during the inquiry.

According to sources disclosed to Fox News Digital, certain Republicans have been “especially receptive to seeing the Administration’s record of cooperation with investigators."

In the meantime, Fox News Digital has acquired "fact sheets" from House Oversight Democrats, intended for dissemination among both Democratic and Republican members, designed to bolster their endeavors to quash the impeachment inquiry.

A senior House Democratic told, “These fact sheets are a hat in hand, fact-based appeal to House Republicans. Republicans may not be getting all of the facts from Mr. Comer, so we are making sure that they have the full picture as they decide whether to endorse this impeachment effort.”

Internet dubs Jamie Raskin a ‘clown’

Soon after Sean Hannity reported on Jamie Raskin’s efforts to quash Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry, many X users blasted on the representative.

One person wrote, “He is a Traitor to his country and the people in it. Straight up no denying it, this guy is as greasy and dirty as a differential.”

Another person had a similar opinion, “I personally cannot stand Jamie Raskin. I truly believe he is a very bad person.”

An X user simply slammed Raskin adding, “I believe this guy is soooo evil. Cant believe there are people voting for him,” and another wrote, “Raskin is such a clown. Him telling Republicans not to vote for the inquiry should sure it up!”

One more user mocked Raskin, “Raskin is a complete disgrace to America,” and another said, “Raskin is one of the most dishonest annoying democrats.”
