HOUSTON, TEXAS: Rep Jasmine Crockett ignited debate during a heated House hearing on transgender athletes in women’s sports after introducing a provocative game she dubbed “Trump or Trans”.

The session, titled 'Unfair Play: Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports', quickly took a partisan turn when Crockett posed a series of politically charged questions to National Women’s Law Center President Fatima Goss Graves, reports Western Journal.

Jasmine Crockett turned to Fatima Goss Graves with a pointed question, "So, Miss Goss Graves, I want to play a game. It’s called Trump or trans, you ready?"

She added, “So, I’m gonna ask you a question and want you to tell me whether or not it is Trump or trans people that are responsible, you understand?”

In her line of questioning, Crockett asked Graves to attribute issues like “gutted medical research”, “waging an idiotic tariff war”, “kidnapping Americans and sending them to foreign countries”, and “driving us into a recession” to either President Donald Trump or transgender individuals.

Graves consistently responded, “Trump.” Crockett continued with similarly framed questions, criticizing Trump's policies and attempting to reframe the focus of the hearing onto broader political grievances.

Crockett appeared to steer the conversation away from the controversy over mentally ill men competing in women’s sports, seemingly aiming to redirect the focus with a broader message: “The president is very bad, so never mind men barging into women’s spaces.”

Crockett described the deportation of undocumented immigrants with serious criminal records, such as those involved in murder, trafficking, and gang activity, as if American citizens were being forcibly taken to unfamiliar countries.

During the early months of his second term, Trump’s administration has taken several steps affecting the transgender community. In January, he signed an executive order defining male and female as the only recognized sexes and instructed federal agencies to stop promoting gender transition policies.

“As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female,” Trump stated in his inaugural address earlier this year.
