GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA: Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance turned his response to a woman falling from the chair during his town hall into a mocking swipe at Vice President Kamala Harris.

The turn of events occurred while Vance was amid a question-answer session during a town hall with former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Thursday, October 10.

While the Ohio Senator was speaking, someone seated behind him screamed after she fell from a chair, as per Daily Mail. The Donald Trump running mate stood up immediately to see what happened but soon after quipped, "Kamala Harris built this."

"You can have my chair if you want," Patrick offered the woman.

As the 2024 presidential election enters its final stretch with only weeks left for Election Day, Vance attempted to woo voters in support of the Republican ticket.

The ex-NASCAR driver questioned the VP hopeful regarding globalists who aim for people to "own nothing and be happy."

"They want you to live in a pod, eat bugs and own nothing, right?" Vance replied.

Sharing his experience, Vance said, "I'm ashamed to admit it; I have also tried cricket. It is honestly more disgusting than you can possibly imagine. So don't eat the bugs. We want to eat red meat."

The GOP VP candidate's town hall took place as former president Barack Obama campaigned for Harris in Pittsburgh, while the Democratic nominee held a town hall in Las Vegas.
