WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President JD Vance accused “Democrat billionaires and Democrat political leaders” of having ties to Jeffrey Epstein, stoking fresh MAGA outrage over the Trump administration’s decision not to release the full “Epstein files.”

Speaking on Fox News’ 'Sunday Morning Futures', Vance mocked Democrats for their sudden interest in the case and suggested high-profile figures on the left had visited Epstein’s island, hinting at unanswered questions about their activities.

JD Vance links Democrats to Epstein, questions past conduct

In his Fox News interview, Vance claimed Democrats ignored the Epstein case during former President Joe Biden’s tenure and argued that Epstein was more closely aligned with them.

“The Democrats have tried to make this whole Epstein thing about anything but the fact that Democrat billionaires and Democrat political leaders went to Epstein island all the time,” Vance said. “Who knows what they did.”

Vance praised Donald Trump for “demanding full transparency” while slamming Biden’s administration for its handling of the matter. He also suggested that House Oversight Committee subpoenas targeting former President Bill Clinton and former first lady Hillary Clinton could reveal more about Democratic ties to Epstein.

JD Vance faces criticism over unreleased files

Vance’s remarks sparked pushback. GOP lawyer George Conway questioned why the Trump administration hasn’t released the files if Democrats were implicated.

An X user wrote, "Trump was a democrat billionaire back then, @JDVance"

"It IS known what they did @vp because it was all recorded. And the FBI has the recordings. They always had them because that’s what the operation was. Why else did they scrub the entire island?" Another wrote.

"I don’t care what party someone is. Release the files, I don’t care what company they lead, what bank they direct, what side of isle they sit. Trump is in the files a lot, he’s sanitizing what he’s going to release," one posted.

Users also questioned Vance, "Since this was going on when JD was like 12, maybe someone should remind him that Trump was a Democrat then as well" and "Soooooo ONLY DEMOCRATS were friends with Epstein."

One wrote, "Ok, then release the files @JDVance if you have sooooo much dirt on Dems then it should be a problem, right? RIGHT? #ReleaseTheEpsteinFiles," while another said, "Who knows what they did? That's why the Epstein files should be released and the public should get to review everything while the legal system does its thing. They're acting like it's some grand thing - it's just another case. That they failed handling so now it's public's turn."

A user stated, "This is interesting Vance as the logs published haven't shown the destination as you claim."

Vance avoided confirming whether he believes unreleased material implicates top Democrats.

When pressed about reports he met with Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel to discuss Epstein, Vance confirmed the meeting but denied the topic was raised. “We actually didn’t talk about the Epstein issue at all,” he said. “That was never meant to be the subject of the meeting.”

DOJ releases findings debunking Epstein theories

The Department of Justice recently reaffirmed that Epstein’s 2019 death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center was a suicide, releasing 10 hours of surveillance footage from the night of his death.

The DOJ said the FBI’s review showed no evidence of foul play, no “client list,” and no credible proof that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals.

The findings undermined years of speculation and conspiracy theories suggesting Epstein was murdered to protect influential figures. Despite this, the case remains a political flashpoint, with both Trump allies and opponents invoking it to attack the other side.
