PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Vice President JD Vance attended Turning Point USA's AmericaFest 2025, where he made several remarks about his friend Charlie Kirk. During the event, he also claimed the TPUSA founder's alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, represented a "crystal clear image of how the left wants young men to be."

Vance highlighted points such as an addiction to hate and the tendency to reject spirituality, among others. He also emphasized that families must actively resist such negative influences and fight against such practices.

Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest 2025 was scheduled as a four‑day event from Thursday, December 18, through Sunday, December 21.

JD Vance claims Tyler Robinson's attributes match what the left has advertised

JD Vance asked the crowd at AmericaFest 2025, "We might ask. What are the fruits of these people and their principles? And the answer is a man named Tyler Robinson, who killed my friend."

He continued, "Think about it. He has everything that the far left want from our young men. He rejected the conservatism and the spirituality, the values of a small-town family. He moved into a small apartment."

"He became addicted to p*rn. He became addicted to hate, and he ended up sleeping with somebody who doesn't know whether they're a man or a woman," Vance claimed.

"That is the nightmare scenario, but that is the scenario that the left has actively advertised they want for American families. And the young men in the audience, in particular. That is exactly why we have to fight them."

Vance further stressed that this pattern of behavior is not just an individual tragedy but a reflection of cultural influences that American families must resist.

He urged parents and communities to reinforce traditional values, spiritual grounding, and strong family structures to prevent young men from following a similar destructive path.

JD Vance shared heartfelt reflections on his late friend Charlie Kirk, expressing how much he misses Kirk’s "wisdom, his energy and the optimism." He spoke candidly about missing the phone calls they shared while strategizing.

The 41-year-old then turned to the audience and asked if they missed Kirk and whether they would continue to fight for the principles he stood for. The crowd responded with cheer. He went on, “I miss his reminder that politics is not a dress rehearsal or a game."

"We are making decisions that will save our country and give the American people a shot at their dreams again," he added.

Vance concluded with a powerful message of unity and determination: "My friends, commit to these things, and I promise you victory. I promise you closed borders and safe communities. I promise you good jobs and a dignified life. Only God can promise you salvation in Heaven, but together, we can fulfil the promise of the greatest nation in the history of the earth."
