PHOENIX, ARIZONA: President Donald Trump made a memorable appearance at AmericaFest 2025, despite not attending in person. Calling in from the Trump International Golf Club, Trump addressed the crowd through his son, Donald Trump Jr.

Trump told the audience, “I want to be with you, and I will be with you soon.” Trump Jr. held the phone close to the microphone so the president’s voice could be clearly heard by the cheering crowd.

President Donald Trump called into Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest 2025 on Sunday. During the introduction, Donald Trump Jr. said, “He may not be here today, but I wanted to make sure he had a chance to say, ‘Hi.’”

Raising the phone toward the audience, Trump Jr. prompted, “Mr. President?” Trump’s voice rang out: “Hello, everybody! Oh! Would I wanna be with you!” The audience responded with loud applause.

Trump continued, “But I’ll be with you soon, and I just want to say that nobody did more for me than Charlie, and there’s nobody better than Erika. You are the greatest people on earth. We won in a landslide, and we’re going to continue to do it. I just want to thank everybody who got out there, voted, and knocked on doors. Thank you all.”

He added a lighthearted remark to Trump Jr.: “I hope my son’s doing a good job representing me, otherwise I’ll have to say, ‘You’re fired, Don! You’re fired!’ So, thank you very much, have a great day, and I hope Don makes a great speech. If he doesn’t, let me know, I’ll give him hell!”

Trump Jr. addressed the audience afterward, saying, “There are 30,000 young patriots in this room. The movement continues. They’re looking forward to supporting everything that you, Charlie, and everyone in this movement stand for. Thanks, Dad, we appreciate it, we love you, and we’ll speak to you soon.” The audience erupted in chants of “USA! USA!”
