Jenri Rodriguez: Florida man left woman dead as he crashed car three times after leaving nightclub

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FLORIDA: A man who left a nightclub on Sunday, February 25, and caused three crashes — one of which resulted in a woman's death, has been taken into custody, according to deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office,
Jenri Fuentes Rodriguez, 39, has been charged with vehicular homicide; however, according to sheriff's officials, additional charges could be brought against him.
Ann Marie Rutkowski died in the crash
Deputies identified the deceased woman as 59-year-old Ann Marie Rutkowski. In a news release made available on February 25, Sunday night, investigators stated that Rodriguez initially collided with a car while driving out of a nightclub.
They did not identify the establishment. After leaving the scene of the collision, he entered a McDonald's parking lot and struck another car.
After that, Rodriguez allegedly drove at a "high rate of speed" down Waters Avenue before running a red light at Himes Avenue. According to the news release, this "caused his car and another vehicle to collide and flip multiple times, forcing the victim and her vehicle into a wooden utility pole."
When deputies arrived at the crash scene at roughly six in the morning, they discovered Rutkowski dead.
“My prayers are with this woman’s family, as their loved one’s life was taken because of the reckless actions of another individual,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said in the news release, according to the News Channel 8.
“Our detectives are examining every piece of evidence in this investigation to ensure that this man is held fully accountable for his actions.”
