WASHINGTON, D.C.: Jesse Watters has been mocked online as he hailed Donald Trump amid his guilty verdict in the hush money trial.

The 45-year-old political commentator said, as reported by The Raw Story, “Democrats think locking up Trump locks up America First. But it doesn't. Makes it stronger. You ever see the prison bodies on inmates?”

This was not the first time Watters gushed about Trump and his possible transformation in the jail.

Last month, the Fox News host reportedly stated, “Trump is going to come out with a prison body. That's what happens when you go to prison; you work out, that's all there is to do.”

Donald Trump calls  trial a ‘disgrace’

Trump was convicted on May 30 in the hush money trial after it was proved he forged his business documents to give hundreds of thousands of dollars of money to an ex-porn star to hide an affair.

Following the verdict, the ex-leader alleged, “This was a disgrace, this was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge. The real verdict will be November 5th by the people and they know what happened here, and everybody knows what happened here.”

He added, “We didn't do anything wrong. I'm a very innocent man. That's OK. I'm fighting for our country, and I'm fighting for our Constitution. Our whole country is being rigged right now.”

Jesse Watters called out for ‘sick fantasies’

Meanwhile, Watters’ praise for Trump has received some attention online with an X user saying, “He's pathetic.”

Another user wrote, “Yeah Jesse, trump would gain another 50 pounds in prison!”

The third one stated, “As a general rule if Jesse Watters says something then the opposite is more likely to be true. So locking him up would most likely make America stronger.  Democrats, as  party, or the Biden administration have nothing to do with Trump making false claims on his paperwork or falsifying election records. He owns that.”

“WHOSE ‘sick fantasy?’ I’m not the one thinking about prison bodies,” the fourth user remarked.

The fifth one added, “I have no Trump ‘fantasies', prison or otherwise. I just want him to be held accountable for his crimes, especially the ones against American democracy and national security. As long as justice is delivered, I don’t care to ever see or hear of him again. Fox News S****!”

A tweet read, “Yeah sure Jesse right, he won't be crying in the cell he'll be lifting weights. Have you ever seen him lift a 12 oz water bottle 🙄.”

"Does Jesse have something he needs to confess?" another one asked.
