WASHINGTON, DC: Jesse Watters has made fun of Gavin Newsom, saying the California governor could be “the first woman president”. The TV host commented on Wednesday, April 1, during the episode of ‘The Five’.

Watters began, “Many people are saying women don’t have the sense of humor to be the president. I’ve heard that from a lot of people. None of those things I believe. But I believe Gavin Newsom could be the first woman president.”

Explaining further, the commentator went on to comment on Newsom’s mannerisms. “Because when I hear him talk, sounds like a woman. The kind of emotional instability, you don’t know whether he’s having a mid-life crisis or identity crisis, or a crisis of confidence.”

Watters also said during the segment that he had read the 58-year-old politician’s memoir ‘Young Man in a Hurry: A Memoir of Discovery’ and “it’s great, he’s so much potential with athleticism and hair, a genuinely nice guy.”

Jesse Watters asks Gavin Newsom to see a psychiatrist

Watters, however, noted that the “only reason he is running for president is to prove his worth to his father and to get back at all bullies who beat the crap out of.”

The Democratic Party member’s father was the late William Newsom, who was a judge and the administrator of the Getty family trust.

Concluding his statement, Watters suggested Newsom not run for the president but “run to the psychiatrist.”

Jesse Watters says Gavin Newsom's 'a woman trapped in a man’s body'

This was not the first time Watters had called Newsom a woman. During Monday’s, March 30, episode of ‘The Five’, he said of the Democratic presidential hopeful that “he’s kind of like a woman trapped in a man’s body.”

“You could probably convince the base that Gavin is a woman. He changes his mind a lot, he’s always in the mirror, he’s always crying, he’s crossing his legs constantly. I think they could buy that,” the Fox News anchor added.

Not just Newsom, Watters had also commented on former Vice President Kamala Harris’ appearance.

During the March 23 ‘The Five’ episode, the panel discussed an article by The Bulwark, which claimed ‘Dems Want Hotter Candidates on the Ballot’.

Dana Perino, former White House Press Secretary, began the discussion by saying, “Notice that it’s the women—the women aren’t suggesting that there is a democratic woman they would like to put forward, right? Where is the girlhood? To me, Kamala Harris was an objectively beautiful person, and she couldn’t win, so I don’t think that’s what it is.”

But Watters soon interrupted, adding, “I have to disagree with Dana. I didn’t think Kamala was hot.”

To which Perino claimed, “I said she was beautiful. I didn’t say hot.”
