NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Jesse Watters commented on the DoD’s investigation into Senator Mark Kelly during his appearance on ‘The Five’ on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Watters stated that he was glad the US military was investigating “this guy Kelly because this is what we expect from Donald Trump 2.0.”
Jesse Watters claims CIA-style hoax behind illegal orders video
‘The Five’ co-hosts reacted to the viral video featuring six Democratic representatives urging troops to disobey any illegal orders by Donald Trump. Commenting on the situation, Jesse Watters said he had spoken to two CIA officers who claimed it was “part of a larger hoax.”
He explained that they were trying to “condition the country” to prepare for something bad that was about to happen at the hands of Trump. Watters added that it was “straight out of the CIA’s playbook” and called it a destabilization operation designed to cause mistrust.
Watters further said that in the first part of the video, the speakers established authority; in the second part, they introduced the threat, Donald Trump; and in the third part, they introduced the solution, which was to “resist” and “say no.” He argued that the Democratic leaders didn’t give people a choice, presenting resistance as an “obligation.”
While discussing the investigation into Mark Kelly, Jesse Watters said they couldn’t allow the “deep state” to interfere with a “duly elected presidency” and get away with it. He said they needed to “draw the line” and “make examples out of people.”
Jesse Watters accuses ‘seditious six’ of pushing anti-Trump revolt
Jesse Watters further criticized the group in question on his own show, 'Jesse Watters Primetime.' “The seditious six told our troops to revolt against the president,” he said.
Watters continued that the problem was that the group, Elissa Slotkin, Mark Kelly, Chris Deluzio, Maggie Goodlander, Chrissy Houlahan, and Jason Crow, were fighting against something “imaginary."
Quoting Crow’s remarks about wanting to start a conversation, Watters said they wanted to “start a coup,” arguing that they planted the seed of a “revolution,” but noted that these rebels didn’t have a cause. As a clip of Slotkin played, in which she said she was unaware of any illegal orders by Trump, Watters said that if the president had issued illegal orders and they were telling troops to disobey, it sounded like “treason.”
“They put out a propaganda video, but their handlers never briefed them on the details, so they are bombing the interviews,” he added.
