NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Jesse Watters recently shared his take on Donald Trump’s removal from Colorado ballot and claimed that democrats wants to remove ex-POTUS and if he’s not removed, there will be a civil war.

This came following the Colorado Supreme Court ruling to kick out former president off the state’s primary ballot.

Following this news, Watters took to X (formerly Twitter) to back up Trump.

Unfortunately, several X users did not react positive to Watters’ remarks and brutally slammed him.

Jesse Watters discusses Donald Trump barred from Colorado ballot

Fox News host Jesse Watters took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Democrats want to “remove” Donald Trump and if he’s not removed, there will be a civil war.”

In his tweet, Watters shared video of his monologue where he said, “Five years after the Civil War, pro-slavery Democrats filled the halls of Congress, and 15 years later, pro-slavery Confederates actually flipped the House – 51 former Confederate soldiers or officials were elected into office. Even the vice president of the Confederacy, Alexander Stephens, an arch secessionist, landed a seat in Congress.”

He continued, “Another Confederate rebel, Lucius Lamar – great name – who literally drafted the Missouri secession plan, went on to serve as interior secretary and was later appointed to the Supreme Court.”

“But how is that possible? Because all week we've been hearing how the Constitution bans insurrectionists from office. The 14th Amendment. How would Confederate soldiers be allowed to serve in government, but not Donald Trump?” he added.

Watters further explained, “Well, it turns out Congress eviscerated the 14th Amendment 150 years ago because President Ulysses S Grant believed national unity and reconciliation after the Civil War was more important than holding a grudge.”

“This law has been hollowed out and has been sitting on the backburner for years. Well, that is until Donald Trump came along and like every previous attack lunatic liberal lawyers resuscitate an esoteric legal theory from another century to prosecute the former president.”

He attacked democrats saying, “It’s pro-democratic to ignore the will of the people. Democrats are treating this like the civil war which they promise would happen if Trump got elected. Remember? They say if Trump’s elected, Colorado’s gone!”

“Democrats planning to start a second Civil war because this is going to end the same way the last one did.”

Internet dubs Jesse Watters ‘drama queen’

After Jesse Watters shared his monologue backing Donald Trump over barred from Colorado ballot, several people on X brutally called out the Fox News host.

One person wrote, “Jesse is the head clown.  The guy gets dunked on daily. Do you want a nonsensical point communicated poorly? Jesse is the man,” and another said, “I can’t believe people listen to you.”

An X user simply said, “Drama queen.”

Another had a similar thought, “You are Disgusting!” and one more called out Watters, “So you’re advocating for a civil war?  Ok. But why should any of us listen to you?”

Another person said, “You get paid handsomely to speak lies as truth and knowingly divide the country and even stoke the fire of violence. People like you are scum and a danger to our country.”
