LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jim Carrey has reportedly married his longtime girlfriend Min Ah in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles. TMZ was the first to report the marriage on Wednesday, September 30, while a spokesperson for the 64-year-old actor later confirmed the wedding to PEOPLE.
The marriage came seven months after Carrey and Min Ah made their first official public appearance together at the Cesar Awards in Paris. Carrey accepted an honorary award at the ceremony and publicly acknowledged Min Ah during his acceptance speech, calling her his ‘sublime companion.’

“Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah,” Carrey said during the speech, according to PEOPLE.
Carrey then told Min Ah, “I love you, Min Ah,” before thanking his late father, Percy Joseph Carrey, whom he credited with teaching him the value of love, generosity and laughter.

The wedding marked Carrey’s third marriage. He was previously married to Melissa Womer, with whom he shares daughter Jane, from 1987 to 1995, before marrying Lauren Holly in September 1996.
Holly filed for divorce less than a year later, citing “irreconcilable differences,” with the pair having separated in June 1997. Holly later reflected on the intense media scrutiny surrounding their relationship, saying the growing attention made it difficult to maintain their private lives.
