MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: In his pre-Mother’s Day monologue, Jimmy Fallon shared some comedic gems, including a piece of advice for former President Donald Trump and a hilarious take on the holiday's traditions.

The late-night host kicked off by reminding everyone of the impending Mother’s Day, suggesting that if they spot an Amazon delivery van, they should treat it like an ambulance for the next couple of days.

Pointing out that people on average spend $250 on Mother’s Day gifts, Fallon said, "But don’t worry, the best gift is free, which is taking the kids somewhere so mom can have five minutes of peace! That’s what they want."

Then, he turned his attention to Trump, playfully advising him to double his budget for his wife Melania's Mother's Day gift this year, possibly hinting at the ongoing hush money trial which included a bombshell testimony from Stormy Daniels about her alleged 2006 one-night stand with the former president.

Fallon shared, "Also, just a quick word of advice to former President Trump, whatever you were thinking of spending on Melania this year, I'd double it. I would just -- I would."

Fallon also poked fun at Trump’s recent Telemundo 51 interview, in which he got confused between the words "ambidextrous" and "multitasking" while answering a question about his ability to balance his family life amid his ongoing legal woes.

'The Tonight Show' host joked, "And then the Spanish subtitles said, 'Muy incorrecto,' yeah."

Mimicking Trump's voice, Fallon added, "I’m also 'bilingual,' which means I like men and women ... Be bilingual. Women and men, I like them both. Women, of course."

Jimmy Fallon hails Taylor Swift as he presents a song about mothers

Later in the monologue, Fallon serenaded the audience with a song highlighting the diverse ways people refer to their moms across the globe. The tune echoed the simplicity and charm reminiscent of Fallon’s past musical sketches on 'Saturday Night Live'.

His song began, "If you're in the US mom is what you say / You're down in Mexico, you might say madre / If you're out in England mum is the idea / Or take a trip to Italy where they say mamma mia!"

"If you're really fancy, matriarch is nice / But if you're really laid back call your mom home slice / If you're a New Yorker, then just say hello, mudda / Or treat her like she's Taylor Swift / And simply call her mother," further crooned the late-night host.

He wrapped up the monologue with an invitation to watch the upcoming two-hour 10th-anniversary special of 'The Tonight Show', promising a nostalgic trip through its best moments and guest appearances.
