LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On a recent episode of 'The Tonight Show', Jimmy Fallon took a jab at former president Donald Trump while suggesting a hilarious idea for his campaign merch, contrasting it with the latest merchandise from the Harris-Walz campaign.

Soon after Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on September 10, their campaign released Taylor Swift-themed friendship bracelets bearing the “Harris-Walz” slogan.

During his monologue, Jimmy Fallon couldn’t resist poking fun at Donald Trump. “Everyone’s still talking about Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris,” Fallon said.

“And I saw their campaign is now selling their own friendship bracelets.” He then added with a laugh, “Yeah, and not to be outdone, Trump’s campaign is now selling friendship ankle monitors.” Fallon humorously imitated the sound of an ankle monitor beeping, eliciting laughter from the audience.

The jest comes in the wake of Swift’s endorsement and the release of the Harris-Walz campaign’s Swift-inspired merchandise.

When asked about pop star Taylor Swift's post-debate endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump told 'Fox & Friends' on September 11 he preferred the 'Fortnight' singer's friend Brittany Mahomes.

"I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better if you want to know the truth," telling Fox that Mahomes is "a big Trump fan."

Jimmy Fallon pokes fun at Donald Trump’s polling claims

In addition to his mockery of the Donald Trump campaign’s merch, Jimmy Fallon also touched on the aftermath of Trump’s recent debate appearance. Referring to the debate, Fallon quipped, “Well, get this, guys, I read that 67 million people watched Tuesday night's presidential debate. Yep, it might be the first time in his life Trump was praying for low ratings.”

This line was followed by a remark about Trump’s team constantly being in damage control, humorously suggesting, “I’m sorry you work for Donald Trump. When are you not doing damage control?”

Fallon also mentioned Trump’s unconventional response to the debate, noting that Trump’s camp was sharing dubious polls claiming he won decisively. “Trump is even posting polls from weird sites that claim he won 91% to 9%,” Fallon joked. “It makes sense 'cause that's the same poll site that found that 99% of men preferred the middle urinal.”

Finally, Fallon addressed the ongoing debate about a potential second debate, noting that while Harris had challenged Trump to another debate, Trump was more interested in debating President Joe Biden.
