Joe Biden labeled 'two-face liar' for canceling high-level meeting with Israel about Iran's nuclear plans
WASHINGTON, DC: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing the consequences of speaking against the Biden administration as a high-level meeting between Israeli officials and the US regarding Iran's nuclear program fell apart.
However, a White House correspondent dished out the rumors of any supposed tension between Israel and the United States.
Senior officials had scheduled a meeting for this Thursday, June 20, following fresh information about Iran's nuclear program, reported Fox News.
Shortly after the news of the meeting became public, Netanyahu addressed the citizens in English via a pre-recorded video, labeling the recent withdrawal of US military assistance for Israel as "inconceivable."
US-Israel meeting was called off after Benjamin Netanyahu's comments
A senior official told the outlet that the meeting was called off in response to Netanyahu's remarks. The official stated that other meetings regarding aid distribution and coordination are going according to plan, including the visit by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to the United States next week.
According to a White House official, the meeting's arrangements are still in the works, but they haven't been "fully finalized."

Foundation for Defense of Democracies' senior advisor speaks out after US-Israel meeting gets canceled
The Foundation for Defense of Democracies' senior advisor, Richard Goldberg, contended that Netanyahu's video provided an inside look at the Biden administration's policies.
"What’s becoming clear is that the White House has misled Congress and the American people as to the extent of the withholding of key munitions that Israel needs to defend itself. It’s not just about 2,000-pound bombs, it’s about the precision guided conversion kits," he told the outlet.
"The president is effectively allying with Iran to squeeze Israel inside Tehran’s ring of fire," he added, referring to the Iran-backed Hamas and Hezbollah terror groups.
What was the purpose of the US-Israel meeting?
The purpose of the meeting on Thursday was to discuss details regarding a computer modeling program that Iran has obtained and may use to help develop nuclear weapons.
Iran's intentions for the program are still unknown and officials are reportedly divided on whether the program is harmless or reflects the regime's continued aspirations to acquire nuclear weapons.
A spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office declined to provide further details about reports of the postponed meeting, but stressed that "those are very important to us" and that Israel and the US have "ongoing discussions at every single level with US officials."
Many Israeli officials were already en route to the US
Several Israeli officials were informed that the meeting had been canceled while they were traveling to the United States.
Netanyahu's video referenced a conversation he had with Secretary of State Antony Blinken during his trip to Israel last week. He said he had expressed his "deep appreciation" for US support but tacked on heavy criticism as well.
"I also said something else, I said it's inconceivable that in the past few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunitions to Israel," Netanyahu said.
Netizens lambast Joe Biden for canceling the US-Israel meeting at the eleventh hour
Internet users criticized the current US government for pulling off from the meeting with Israel at the last moment.
One X (formerly Twitter) user poked fun at President Joe Biden, saying, "Biden probably needs a nap first."
Another slammed, "Biden is a two face liar," while one user penned, "Biden flying his Hamas flag."
"Bibi thought he can use the trump negotiation and tell him faltering stuff and the president would roll over for him," opined one and another added, "THIS MONSTER GIVES UKRAINE MISSILES THEN INSTRUCTS THEM WHERE THEY CAN USE THEM,BUT DENIES OUR BIGGEST ALLIE ANY,I SAY BIBI DROP BOMBS WHERE NECESSARY PLEASE!"
"Netanyahu probably rejected Biden... again," commented one user. "I bet the first debate will be similar. Joe won't show!" echoed a user.
