WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden stated that he undergoes 'a full neurological test every day' in his first interview following the challenging debate with Donald Trump last week.

He also disclosed that he would not submit to an independent medical evaluation to confirm his fitness as the Democratic candidate for 2024.

Joe Biden denies receiving comprehensive neurological and cognitive exam

George Stephanopoulos of ABC News inquired whether the 81-year-old president had ever received a comprehensive neurological and cognitive assessment, as concerns about Biden's mental and physical capabilities increase before the November election, New York Post reported.

“I get a full neurological test every day with me and I’ve had a full physical,” Biden responded.

“I had, you know, I mean — I’ve been at Walter Reed for my physicals. I mean, yes,” he added.

Stephanopoulos inquired whether the president had undergone an examination by a neurologist or specialist. Biden replied no, stating that "no one said I had to." “They say I’m good,” he added.

Biden has stated his unwillingness to submit to an independent medical evaluation and to make the results public, in order to dispel concerns about potential mental decline.

“I have a cognitive test every day,” Biden said. “Everything I do. I’m not just running a campaign, I’m running the world.”

Biden stated that he would not have sought reelection had he believed himself to lack the mental or physical capacity to serve another four-year term.

Joe Biden labelled as 'pathological liar'

The news of Joe Biden's denial of a comprehensive neurological and cognitive exam went viral on social media, leading to reactions from users.

A user wrote, "Joe Biden has been a pathological liar his entire life."

Another user added, "This is terrifying."

The third commentator wrote, "We know what we see. We can no longer be gaslit."

"All cognitively healthy people are required to take full neurological tests daily," one wrote sarcastically.

A person questioned, "Ok, can we see those results then?"
