WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden on Saturday, May 4, posted a Star Wars Day clip on X that showed an ecstatic guest in the White House. "May the 4th be with you," said Biden as he looked sadly into the camera. At that time, 'Star Wars' actor Mark Hamill abruptly entered the scene and said 'Always', according to the New York Post.

Standing chest to chest, the serious duo allowed the picture of Franklin D Roosevelt, which hung on the wall of the Oval Office, to peer down at their lighthearted antics.

Within hours of being uploaded, the five-second clip had 4.8 million views. The video surfaced the day after 72-year-old Hamill surprised everyone by dropping into the White House press room while sporting a pair of aviator sunglasses that he said the President had given him. He stated that he had just left Biden's place, which is probably when the awkward clip was taken.

Hamill said, "He said, 'You can call me Joe'. And I said, 'Can I call you Joe-bi-Won Kenobi? And he liked that'."

Notably, amid significant demonstrations and rioting on college campuses over the President's backing for Israel, the actor has been a vocal supporter of both Biden and Israel.

During the White House press briefing, Hamill devoted his time to praising Biden's performance. But according to surveys, the President has a poor average popularity rating of 40.1% as he runs for reelection in November. This is attributed to widespread dissatisfaction with rising prices and illegal immigration.

Internet trolls Joe Biden for his May the 4th clip
