Keery’s remarks came just days after the conclusion of 'Stranger Things', which ended its decade-long run with the finale of Season 5 on January 1.
The first volume of the final season premiered on November 26, and the second volume was released on December 26, bringing the Hawkins saga to an end.
Trump defends ICE agent in Truth Social statement
Trump had addressed the incident after the video of the shooting spread widely online.
In a Truth Social post, the president claimed the agent acted in self-defense.
“The woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense,” Trump wrote.
He added that the incident was under review, but blamed political opponents for escalating tensions, stating, “The reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis.”
