WASHINGTON, DC: Podcaster Joe Rogan suggested that President Donald Trump should run for governor of California after leaving the White House.
“It would be f***ing hilarious!” Rogan said on his podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience.' The comment sent Rogan and his guests, British comic Francis Foster and political commentator Konstantin Kisin, into laughter. In the first few minutes of the podcast, the host and guests discussed California, its climate, and the idea of Trump becoming governor.
Taking another jab at Gov Gavin Newsom, Rogan made the remark during an episode released on Wednesday, October 22.

Joe Rogan says Trump could 'fix' California if he ran for governor
The topic came up early in the episode when Rogan mentioned a friend who was “fleeing LA” during 'The Joe Rogan Experience.' Rogan didn’t hold back while tossing out ideas for Trump. Speaking with his two guests, he said, “What Donald Trump should do is, when he leaves the office, is run for the governor of California!”

Rogan continued, “Just take over California and fix it. It would be hilarious if he did. It would be one of the funniest thing of all time, if an 82-year-old man steps into the office of governor of California.” He then broke into a Trump impression, saying, “‘We’re going to fix everything. You’ve got a problem with water, I know how to get the water!’ It would be f***ing hilarious.”
Rogan’s guest, Konstantin Kisin, agreed, saying that while Southern California looks like “paradise” when you land, politicians like Gov Gavin Newsom have made it so bad that people are leaving in large numbers.
Joe Rogan blasts Gavin Newsom’s leadership
Rogan’s idea of Trump running for governor of California came after he criticized current Governor Gavin Newsom, calling him a “bulls**t artist” who had “ruined” the state. Earlier this month, Rogan tore into Newsom’s record, and in response, Newsom challenged Rogan to have him on 'The Joe Rogan Experience.'
Joe Rogan is too 🐔 to have me on his show and expose his listeners to the truth, so I’ll put it here.

- #1 in farming
- #1 in new business starts.

The podcaster didn’t hold back when discussing the state’s leadership. “You can’t ruin a city and then go on to ruin a state and say, 'Guys, that was just practice. Once I get it as a president, I’m going to fix it. Fix it all,'” Rogan said during his podcast conversation with former Navy SEAL and author Jack Carr.
Carr replied, “I mean, it’s so crazy, but he’s such a great politician. He’s so smooth.” Rogan disagreed, saying, “No. I think he’s terrible… there’s no one who’s good who’s competing against him. There’s no sincerity. I mean he’s a good bullsht artist. The things that he says when he gets confronted: ‘We have the highest this and the highest that.’ Like everybody’s leaving! You have the highest unemployment. You have the highest homelessness. What’s the name of Hollywood? You have money missing. You killed Hollywood. Like Hollywood doesn’t exist anymore. It’s literally gone. Mandated vaccines for kids that didn’t need them. You guys, he did horrible s**t.”

Following the episode, Newsom fired back, daring Rogan to invite him onto 'The Joe Rogan Experience' “any time.” If Trump were to follow Rogan’s tongue-in-cheek suggestion, he would have to wait until 2030, as the next California gubernatorial election takes place in 2026.
