WASHINGTON, DC: Joe Rogan shared that attending church has become an enjoyable and meaningful part of his life, as he explores the teachings of Jesus Christ and the insights faith can provide.

During his chat with 'Triggernometry' hosts Francis Foster and Konstantin Kisin, the trio explored topics like inner peace and the reassurance that faith can bring. Rogan nodded in agreement when Kisin said he enjoys attending church and has grown to appreciate it even more.

Rogan said he is "really interested" in learning more about faith. He shared that at his church, "they read and analyze passages in the Bible. I'm really interested in what these people were trying to say." He highlighted Jesus as a figure of remarkable philosophical depth, calling him a “historically documented human being.”

When Konstantin Kisin mentioned that he had returned to attending church services and genuinely enjoys it, Rogan immediately responded, "I do too."

"It's a bunch of people trying to make their lives better," he said. "They're trying to be a better person, and at the place I go to, they read and analyze passages in the Bible. I'm really interested in what these people were trying to say because I don't think it's nothing."

Foster highlighted the powerful moment in the Catholic Mass when worshippers shake hands and say, “Peace be with you,” noting how it creates genuine human connection. Rogan agreed, calling it a meaningful gesture that shows people need something beyond themselves to find guidance.

Joe Rogan praises Jesus as a remarkable and historically grounded figure

The podcaster expressed particular admiration for Jesus, praising him as both philosophically remarkable and historically grounded. Rogan went on to describe Jesus as a "historically documented human being."

"Christianity in particular is the most fascinating to me because there's this one person that everybody agrees existed, who somehow had the best plan for how human beings should interact with each other, behaved in the best way, and even died nonviolently, like on the cross supposedly for our sins," he said. "It's a fascinating story. That's where it gets weird because there's a universal depiction of what this human being was like, and it doesn't vary much between all the people that knew him."

He also addressed how some people dismiss religion, especially Christianity. "There's a lot of atheists and secular people who just like to dismiss Christianity as being foolish, like 'It's just fairy tales.' I hear that amongst self-professed intelligent people," he said. He added that, although he’s met Christians with different political views, they are often among the happiest and kindest people he’s ever known.
