WASHINGTON, DC: Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) trolled Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) during his appearance on Fox News on Tuesday, April 8, as per Whiskey Riff.

One of the most progressive leaders of the Democratic Party, AOC is recently being speculated as its future face, along with the likes of Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX). AOC is also being considered a probable challenger to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for his seat in the upper house in 2028, with polls showing her to have a commanding lead.

However, her becoming the leader of the Democratic Party may greatly delight the GOP, who consider her an easy target because of her left-wing ideology. The 35-year-old's radical approach has even led to Amazon pulling out of a planned headquarters in her district, which seemingly hurt her constituents.

John Kennedy appeared on the 'Hannity Town Hall' along with some of his GOP colleagues on Tuesday, when Fox News host Sean Hannity asked his opinion on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez becoming a Senate leader in the future.

"I consider Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez to be the leader of the Democratic party. She’s entitled to her opinion, I’m entitled to mine," responded the 73-year-old, before adding, "As I’ve said about her before, I think she’s the reason there are directions on a shampoo bottle. Our plan for dealing with her is called Operation Let Her Speak."
