NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Joy Behar criticized Donald Trump, saying his remarks about immigrants from Norway and Somalia showed clear racial bias. She wasn’t upset about him “treating them differently,” but about him favoring immigrants from a mostly White European country over those from an African nation.

On a recent episode of 'The View,' the hosts discussed Trump’s latest campaign rally comments, where he questioned why the United States accepts people from what he called “s******e countries.”

He then asked, “Why can’t we have some people from Norway, Sweden, just a few!”

The conversation began after the panel watched a clip of Trump saying, "We had a meeting, and I say, ‘Why is it we only take people from s******e countries, right? Why can’t we have some people from Norway and Sweden? Just a few?"

Whoopi Goldberg immediately responded, "Well, they see you as the president, and they don’t want to come here." Joy Behar jumped in next, saying, "I have a really good idea. Why doesn’t he go to Norway and stay there?"

Goldberg replied, "They won’t let him in." Behar said, "That's true."

Behar then criticized Trump’s remarks further, calling out the “blatant racism” in his comments and adding, “What’s the difference between Somalia and Norway? Hello! I mean, it’s so obvious... He doesn’t even try to cover it up anymore.”

Dave Rubin, on his show 'The Rubin Report,' shared a video responding to Joy Behar’s remarks. The clip was posted on Friday, December 12. Rubin said, "Yes, the only difference between Somalia and Norway is that in Somalia, it's Black people. And in Norway, it's White people. And that's it. Are there no cultural differences? There are no behavioral differences? There are no economic differences? There are no Leisure differences or anything else. There's no difference in how they treat women or anything else."

He continued, "Which I'm sure Joy Behar, you're going to take your next vacation in Somalia, because you're not a racist. Do we have some images? Can we maybe look at an image of, well, you have an image of Somalia you could put up? Let's, uh, here's just we're doing this on the Fly here. We're going to work all right, we're going to get."

Rubin then added, "We're going to get us back to back. Yeah, well, you can choose joy, and you can vacation in Somalia right there in that pile of whatever is going on there, or you can go to Norway. I'm not even going to tell you, which you know what, which ones which Joy, which one is Somalia, and which one is Norway?"

He closed with, "You're gonna have to think. It's out for yourself."
