LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent episode of 'The ReidOut' on MSNBC, Joy Reid drew an unusual comparison regarding the upcoming 2024 election, likening voting for Donald Trump to consuming excrement. The discussion unfolded in the aftermath of President Joe Biden's lackluster debate performance, which has sparked debates about his viability as a candidate.

Joy Reid says Trump vs Biden race like 'choosing between steak and pile of poo'

Reid and her fellow hosts dissected Biden's challenging night, marked by halting speech and a notable gaffe about Medicare. "We finally beat Medicare," Biden had awkwardly declared at one point, highlighting the struggle he faced during the debate.

Biden's fumbling and stumbling performance prompted widespread speculation about potential alternatives, with some, like The New York Times, even suggesting he withdraw from the race.

Reflecting on the stark choice facing voters in 2024, Reid emphasized the contrast between Biden and Trump. "It’s either him or Trump," remarked David Plouffe, a former Obama advisor. Reid responded with a colorful analogy, "It’s literally, you go to a dinner and your choices are steak or a pile of poo. This is not a difficult choice. Pick the steak! For the love of God!"

The discussion continued with light-hearted jabs at Trump's culinary preferences, including his well-known penchant for well-done steaks with ketchup, a detail that has drawn culinary criticism in the past.

"He doesn’t even know how to make steak," Reid quipped, reinforcing the simplicity of the decision voters face in the upcoming election.

"With ketchup on them," Reid added, referring to Trump's unusual steak topping preference. "He likes his steaks well-done, very cooked," she continued. "He doesn’t even know how to make steak. That’s it y’all. These are your choices," Reid continued, underscoring the binary nature of the decision. "It’s a binary choice. You need to make it.”

Internet divided after Joy Reid's take on Trump's 2024 race

Joy Reid's colorful analogy on MSNBC received mixed reactions on social media.

One user wrote, "Rational Americans equate Joy Reid's opinions with a pile of poo."

Another user commented, "No Joy, that pile of poo is just you looking into the mirror."

One user said, "Joy is absolutely correct. In fact, I sincerely believe that anyone who does vote for convict trump should be forced to eat a pile of 💩. If you truly hate Democracy that much, you deserve it."

One replied, "CRY SOME MORE."

One added, "Poo with poo sauce."

Another stated, "All Joy does is fling poo out of her cage..."

One wrote, "It turns out Joyless Reid is a racist sow."

One said, "Actually, looking at Joy is like eating a pile of poo."
