While the video offered a glimpse into her social life at the University of Miami, Kai has also been open about how different her experience has been from the typical college lifestyle.

Kai Trump reveals she goes home every weekend
In a separate vlog titled “Answering Your MOST Asked Questions About College,” Kai opened up about what she usually does when the weekend arrives.
A viewer asked what a typical weekend looks like for her at college, and Kai admitted that she has been spending almost every weekend at home.
“I've been at home every single weekend. It's so close. Only an hour and 20 minutes away,” she said.
For Kai, the short distance between the University of Miami and home makes the trip an easy choice, especially when she does not have anything planned for the weekend.
“It makes sense. Especially the weekend, like, if I really have nothing to do,” she explained.
But her decision to leave campus is also tied to just how demanding her schedule has become as a student-athlete.
Kai Trump says her college schedule leaves her exhausted
Kai is a member of the University of Miami women's golf team, meaning her freshman routine involves much more than classes and hanging out with friends.
“Honestly, being a college athlete, I'm so tired because the whole day, I'm grinding. I'm working out, I'm playing golf, and then I have classes,” she said.
With such a packed schedule, going home gives Kai a chance to take a break from the constant routine.
“So, like, when I go home, I feel like it's just like vacation,” she added.
She has also revealed just how early her days begin. “College life is fun. When you're a student athlete, that makes it hard to be honest with you,” Kai said. “I wake up every day at like 5:00 am and then I don't normally go to sleep until like 10:30.”
That schedule also helps explain why Kai has not spent as much time exploring Miami as some students might expect.
Kai Trump says she is in Miami for golf, not partying
Despite being based in Miami, Kai admitted that she has barely had time to explore the city because of her golf commitments.
“I feel like I haven't really explored Miami yet because I'm so busy with the golf and stuff like that,” she said.
Kai also made it clear that experiencing Miami's party scene is not high on her list: “I'm here for golf. I'm not here to party in Miami so I guess it's okay.”
